954rr is still the best blade ever built in mine and a lot of opinions. Has a better power to weight ratio than most 2020 bikes! Best looking too and lighter than its little brother the 600CBR RR of the same year.... engineering at its finest :)
Owned and rode the heck of the 1978 Honda CB550, 2001 929RR, also (2004,2006 and 2008) CBR 1000RR and now proud owner of the 2017 CBR 1000RR...a beautiful machine indeed.
My '05 Repsol still feels rock solid after 34.000 miles. The acceleration from 7.000rpm and up is really addictive, you really can feel the torque. That '10 wouldlook really sexy in black with a gp exaust ^^
Not as much a classic as the OG 2004 it's based on though imo. Im starting to see clean 04-05's sell for just as much if not more than a similar condition 06-07. Maybe Honda made fewer cbr1000's in 04-05 than in 06-07
The evolution of Honda motorcycles altogether is fantastic. The Honda CBR 600 ccm, and the 900 ccm, 1000 ccm. And of course the CB series, and offroad bike's
Mano meus parabéns vc é um gênio e bem talentoso , parabéns pela edição deve ter dado muito trabalho eu curti muito essas evolução de marcas de moto top
4:40 would have been good to mention that this was the first Fireblade to have a full electronics suite with combined abs, traction and wheelie control and electronic suspension. This was a big change so I'm not sure why it wasn't mentioned
@@davidbresnahan5986 tuono 1000 gen2. Engine has "more character" + ergos and geometry better for having fun at lower speeds. It might not have quite the same top end power but is still very fast on curvy roads!
very cool video, thanks for making this.04 and 06 is definedly the best looking bikes, only other bike that can compare looks is newer ducattis that do look similar
I've had 2004 for six years now. I used to ride 94 98 96 for 10 years. And the first motorcycle I rode in 1997 was cbr400rrr Now I have the 2004 Cbr1000r and the Harley 883 Cabreta model.
I had a 1996 919 RRT "Tiger Eye" one which was dynojetted and dyno'd at 124 bhp rear wheel! Given its much lighter mass than later bikes which just got heavier up until a few years back, performance was phenominal. It was let down by poor brakes though and handling was affected by its 16 inch front wheel....rapid turn in but would shake its head if suspension wasn't set up well. Very comfy bike and very reliable but the later 1998 tk 2003 aprilia rsv mille outperformed it on road and was better made to everyone's astonishment. Mind you the Mille outperformed even the 916, 996 and 998 Dukes back then. Next to it, the RRT was the bike to own along with the later fuel injected model. Huge fun. The rrt rode like a giant 2 stroke with a powerband from 7.5k revs😊

The latest blade isn't all new, its a heavily revised and refined version of what's been around since 2008. Its been updated incrementally since then with the major ones being the facelift of 2012 and the introduction of the sp in 2014 and now we have the latest update currently available. That platform, as good as it is, is well out dated now and the competition is pulling away. I was a proud owner of a 2009 model and i will never forget her but honda needs to pull finger and bring out an all new model.
the 954 is my favorite, super light raw beast !
My first bike (and my first love) was a CBR Fireblade from 1992. What a bike, what a ride...
The 929 remains my favorite, my childhood hero...my dad owned a 2000 example in red/blue, such an awesome bike.
I have a year 2000 exactly as shown in the video here, love my little Bumblebee
@@Ashitaka0815 Awesome, m8! 👏😎

It was Tadao Baba’s last design and they only made it for two years. Just washed and waxed mine last night. It’s still a looker.
Had one too great bike 600 with 1000 power awesome
2006 fireblade is so beautiful
true2..
same 2004...
agreed
Love my 07
100% agree , I have the exact one !
1998 and 2004 so beautiful!

2006 is nice too
I love my 04-05, it made me smile every time I ride it. I love my blade and planning to buy a used 2017-2019 in the future
Love the 2014 cbr1000rr just absolutely beautiful
I've had the 17 since December it is so amazing to ride. The hell with haters.
Wow thru 2004-2007 was the only undertail exhaust design years. I have an 05 cbr repsol and I am feeling very exclusive!
Michael aren’t we only talking about 1000!!! Smh
Michael You triggered?
954 The lightest of them all, what a master piece by tadao baba
2017 is actually a lot lighter if both have full exhaust
@@SteezeN sorry to dissapoint you. Both had totally standard exhaust from the production line. 954 was the lightest Blade.
Miika Venäläinen I’m saying when you put a full exhaust on the 954 and the 2017 cbr1k the cbr will be lighter
@@SteezeN What are you calling "full exhaust"? They both have full exhaust...
belekas full exhaust means aftermarket headers and slip on
Own a 893 and still impresses me every time, with 99,000km too. Can't imagine 170hp+ , i barely use 120hp with 2+: on rear sprocket
Been imagining 170hp all day... It's beautiful

You have any problem with false neutral?
Stronk Komrade not sure what you mean, but i hav 600miles on cbr1000rr and hav never experienced any kind of issues
@@tmston2 i heard about the issue of false neutral on the new fireblade and cause a racer to crash (guy martin). I never own any of them.
Nope not at all. I have 1200 miles already from 0 and never an issue with false neutral.

I love Fireblade since 1992. All models 👍
Cbr 954 é a mais linda. Meu sonho de consumo.
CBR 919 1998 last model with carburation and best sound pure power!
First generation 92/93 is the one to have , the one that started it all will always be the fireblade that’s worth the most as a future classic

2006 and 2017 is so pretty
At the end of the 90's I was riding a Ninja ZX6, which I loved, but I've always had my secret crush on the Fireblade...
