    Sarah, you are uniquely gorgeous, and you do a great job in selling Costa Rica to Americans. You had me hooked for awhile
    But I have changed my (SHTF in America) safe spot to Uraguay. It's far more European in it's culture, has great weather, and has one of the lowest crime rates (a long with Chile) in South America. And the streets are IMMACULATE, unlike most American cities.
    Some Europeans that travel through Uraguay say they think they are in Holland because the cities are so clean.
    Crime rates in Costa Rica was the biggest turn off for me. Many Americans are now choosing low crime places like Uraguay and Chile for retirement locations.
    So when the SHTF in Costa Rica, consider moving to Uraguay, and move your RUclips channel with you. I know you would love it

      Yes please, take thousands of Americans living in CR to Uruguay, is basically Europe, which means is better (based on your words). Uruguay people will enjoy so much living around Americans, anyway both are basically Europeans, so clean and safe.

    These look like beautiful beaches. How do the weather in Guanacaste compare to the Uvita area? I guess my big question is whether Uvita's weather is unacceptable because of the extra rain or is Guanacaste to hot in the dry season? Guanacaste is clearly more popular among expats but at the same time i worry about all of the comments i read saying Guanacaste, and Tamarindo, in particular, are too touristy.

      Hello! Yes Costa Rica in general is in most cases safe but you should check the neighborhood around and see how it feels, maybe talk with neighbors before buying, even in gated communities. We have experts that could recommend for advise, if you need please send me an email.

    90% of the people in the world live in the northern hemisphere (top half of the globe), so when WW3 breaks out, the southern tip of South America will be the safest place on earth

    This might be a really weird question… but I have more conservative views and modesty is a huge value for me. I loved Costa Rica when I visited for a retreat, however the beach we went to one day was super shocking. The women were all in thongs or dental floss. Are there any beaches where the women dress more modestly with a more full coverage bikini? I would love to move here and visit a beach a few times but don’t want to dismiss my values.

    • @SarahElenaDesignsLife
      @SarahElenaDesignsLife  5 месяцев назад

      To be honest…. I haven’t seen a beach where all people would dress modestly. Some people do of course but that depends on each person. Perhaps you can try beaches that are empty most of the time during the week?

      @@jamesmazura3824 💯 The sargassum makes swimming and snorkeling impossible to enjoy, not to mention the smell. I really feel sorry for the locals who rely on tourism to provide for their families. The people who live there are some of the nicest people that I've ever met.
