I remember playing the HELL out of the Army Men games, specifically RTS and Sarge's Heroes, but the others as well. They had this sort of campy charm to them that kept bringing me back. RTS was especially fun for me as I was that kid who loved playing with the little green and tan dudes in my playscapes I made for them to "fight" on with my extensive Lego collection, and RTS basically took that concept and said, 'here's what happens when you're not looking'. Another game that was strangely comedic and camp was another real time strategy game called Conflict Zone. A semi-serious, satirical laugh factory (with one hell of an opening cinematic) that finds a totally not the U.N. against a shadowy, underhanded, totally not Russia, in a war fought not just with guns and well coordinated strategic maneuvers, but conveniently placed news cameras and a healthy dose of totally voluntary indoctrination :]
im sure you could get the war chest discs to work through a virtual machine. But I found it easier, buying the game through steam where they run on DOSbox. there are a few of the original army men games there for pretty cheap.

I'm not familiar with conflict zone, I'll have to check it out
I remember playing the heck out of the demo for this game as a kid.
I was a child so perhaps that's why I struggled so much but I thought these games were difficult as hell.
Oh yeah I remember this!😊
2:20 i did not expect to hear the name marx and capitalism
We need a new army men game for the ps5 and pc. Perhaps an open world first person shooter with the ability to construct bases in strategic areas
cool video
How'd you get it to work, I too have the war chest but I can't run them because Windows 11
