this is just a fan theory but in their first album, Monday was pushed forward as prominent member. this time it's Jihan. it's like the days they represent in the week starting from Monday (Monday), now Jihan (Tuesday). just a hunch tho

i heard a theory that they’re going to make the members shine in order by the days of the week they represent. for example, monday was first, and she represents the day monday. and now jihan shined this comeback, and she represents tuesday. if this theory is right, that means jiyoon will shine next comeback since she represents wednesday.

I've never understood this obsession over line distribution. If you're a song producer, you're going to use the voices that suit the song best and not prioritise equality over line distribution. I'd say caring for line distribution is more of a fan service than anything else.
Yeah I definitely understand that, and I’m not really complaining about this line distribution since I think they’re taking the weekly route and focusing on a certain girl each comeback. But there are extreme cases where members (specifically foreign ones sometimes) don’t get lines or 2-3 secs, and it’s concerning. And it doesn’t happen for just one comeback, it happens in multiple ones

@@stanloonancttwicebtsblackp7992 Yeah I understand, it probably must be frustrating to see especially if that one member is your bias. I think it's fair to be concerned if it keeps occurring to the point you feel that that member has nothing to contribute to the group, be it rap, dance or vocals. I just feel this measurement of length of vocals in a song just don't mean too much to me. Besides, the length of the vocal line does not contribute directly to it's impact. Just look at Twice Sana's Shy Shy Shy in Cheer Up as an example.
While I do understand that producers aren’t going for “fairness” it can be done that the song sounds great and everyone gets equal amount of lines. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Bigger groups have a harder time doing that, especially to foreign members or not popular members
i love weekly so much before them debut but i think the line distribution is not fair. Jihan get more parts and also more screen time on MV. i hope to Play M at least give Soojin a little more parts or screen time. i don't hate jihan, i love all member. i'm just expressing my opinion.
It’s not supposed to be fair. At the end of the day kpop is a business and they will give the most screen time and lines to the most popular members

@@daniel9895 the producers of zig zag probably liked jihan’s vocals and she is a lead vocalist so its only fair to give her parts that suits her vocals. Jihan is popular in korea and got 200k views on her fancam THE FIRST member in weeekly to surpass 100k mark, soojin is popular but imo jihan is more known to the general public.
If you look at PANN and naver comments Jihan is pretty known by knetz and muggles, especially non fans they only know jihan in weeekly. Maybe this is playm’s strategy to give her the main character on the mv, and in the song zig zag her vocals probably suits the song the most thats why she is given the most parts by the producer
Pretty sure this is Jihan song cause it's her day (Tuesday) and before Monday had a lot cause it was also her day.

I saw someone comment this and I want to elaborate it more. As we all know every member have their own days, just like how Monday is for Monday and Jihan is Tuesday and so on. So maybe PlayM will make each member shine following the day they are representing, let's be patient it's only their first cb and we are already complaining?? Let's trust PlayM this time and just observe more, we never know how the members feel about this, they may not care at all or maybe they do care about it but let's not add some more fuel to the fire, I hope our fanbase can be a calm and supportive one. I'm sorry if my words may not make sense but yeah, that's how I feel about this whole situation.
Yeah let them test the waters plus the lines last era Zoa, Jaehee, & Soojin had many lines in their b-sides so they probably have fair lines in the other songs
why do i feel like monday didn't get enough? most of her lines were adlibs, i'd have loved to have heard her sing one of jihan or soeun's verse or bridge parts

Yeah and she got very little screentime too, was almost invisible. Honestly, she's the main vocal and should always be top 2 imo.
Tag Me left on a Monday and the protagonist of the mv was Monday and Zigzag left on a Tuesday and the protagonist was Jihan who represents Tuesday, so it means that the next one will be Wednesday, Jiyoon!

i love weeekly so much BUT you guys also have to know that the girls each have a position. of course i would love to hear jaehee sing but she is a subvocal. just keep in mind they are taking part in their given positions! weeekly fighting!

this was a mess in the line distribution department tbh. there's no excuse for soojin, jaehee, and zoa having so few lines. Honestly a lot of Zoa's lines were just adlibs, too...
maybe play m want to make each member shine on their come back, for exampel like monday on tage me. this time play m make jihan to shine, meybe in their comeback soojin or the other members will shine

every song can't be perfect in terms of line distribution, some songs will have a member shine more than another

soeun is my bias but even I can see this wasn't such a great distribution. In Tag Me, I felt like everyone got a chance to shine.
this is not a mess, this is good but not the best. all of them sang more than 10s, bottom 3 got the hook of the song and considering their vocal position, this is a fair distribution.

Yeah especially with the short clip of tag me at the end of this video, I realized how mediocre zig zag is in comparison to their debut
