- Thanks for joining. I'm back after a week off and ready to hit the board again! I'm a beginner with a 43 average. Today, I’m jumping into the DartCounter Scoring Game to see how I do after the break. Let's see if the rust shows or if I can still hit those trebles!

This showed up in my feed randomly. You inspired me to throw on DartCounter the singles game. I was on 33 after throwing on the 19s. I hit two treble 20s and a single to get to the magical 40. Of course, I whiffed on the bull. Thank you for a great channel! Thoroughly enjoy watching your routines and your honesty. Your statement that losing is how you learn is the most important thing I need to remember. I am subscribed.
First of all, welcome to the mad house. Congratulations on the magic 40 as well. Appreciate your words and keep me updated on your progress. It is a long journey, good to have you on it.
I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and weirdly look forward to your next thrilling episode.
I recently started darts, probably around end of May and seem to be on a very similar journey. I’m averaging 43 ish in matches against dartbot (4) and around 56 on scoring game.
I feel all your frustrations and am too suffering inconsistencies. But nothing will stop me striving to improve. Keep up the good work mate you probably don’t realise the help you give us mere beginners .
Bravo you 👍🏻🎯
Thank you my friend, that means a lot. I think in a darts world full of great amateur players you see online, it is hard to know the journey they went through to get to that stage as it was never documented. Whether I get to a good level is unknown, but it won't be due to a lack of trying, and I think a lot of the mistakes I make, others will too, and if it helps anyone on their journey, then that is very rewarding for me.
We sound very much at a similar level at this stage. What have you found to be most helpful in your progress?
I think it’s down to practice practice practice, I battle my head sometimes in trying to stick to a plan or an area to improve. I used to just focus on high scoring but from watchin you I now mix it up much more using the dart counter app and always play singles and doubles, then if I’m feeling good test myself on 100 high scoring.
I try to slow my rhythm down and not pull arm too far back. I often struggle with release and drag my 3rd dart.
But I’m quite happy today cos after hitting first 180 last week I got 2 today within 3 throws…. It’s amazing that the more I practice the luckier I get
Keep it up mate your quite inspiring
@@PCMcCarthy70 wow. Congratulations on that mate! And yes we make our own luck. The more I go on and hear people’s stories and preferred training, I think the best strategy to improve is to follow whatever plan you enjoy doing most and purposefully trying to improve. Almost all diets work for weight loss, but the one that works best for you is the one you’ll stick to.
Something I’ve also tried is choosing random on playing singles or doubles, just makes you pause and think a bit more, not sure if it helps but I’ve told myself it’ll help when it comes to matches
@@PCMcCarthy70 good idea. Might do something similar.
Welcome back samson .
19s all the way if that what u feel comfortable with . The rhythm u are throwing at on the 19s will come in time with the 20s
Happy arrows mate ,onward and upward 🎯🎯🎯
Cheers mate helpful
I threw 406 points today with fifteen darts (my record is 410) 🎉🎉🎉
That is cracking mate!

ive heard some pro do actually live on 19s instead ,yes nice for those 20s im weaker on them aswell i also like the 19s ,a 60 average on 19s in match 18 darts into finish zone , i think try some dart bot matches vs level 5 going for 19s
