I was a Home Depot today and a man who was purchasing the fly traps said that they work and confirming with your video, I’m very happy I bought one and I’m going to place it on my tree as you did. Thank you very much!♥️
I have a few and it absolutely works. I will work on getting it further away from my house. I didnt have any string or rope, so I took some shoelaces from a very old pair of sneakers.
These things work awesome. I've tried the ones made by raid and the engineering and design of them are awful. With the raid traps the flies escape easily but once inside the rescue brand they're "DONE". Also I find the bags to work better than the reusable jar plus no touch feature "use and dispose" Great review.
This trap is quite amazing. One piece of advice, if you fill it with water, and for some reason want to relocate it from your original location, be careful not to slosh it around too much. If the liquid gets on the cone inside, the flies will just go down the tube and eat that and not go in the bag. It took me a while to realize that was why flies weren't going in the bag at first. Once I rinsed that area, and waited a few hours, the flies were going to town getting in the bag. Amazing. I actually believe I've reduced the general population of flies in my back yard, and noticed a steep reduction getting on my stray cat's plates when I feed them.
It works the last one I bought and set fill it all the bag and still fly trying to get in I have to get 2 more bags because it works perfect I have a neighbor who is a dog breeder and they don’t clean the yard of feces and cannot imagine how many flys I have to deal with
I’ve found it to be fairly effective, but boy do you not want to be downwind haha. I have one in the backyard to keep the flies away (dog uses the bathroom). Have you tried the wasp one? I have one, but I haven’t used it quite yet. I’m not sure if I want to buy more of the fly traps or try to get by with a bug zapper instead because of the smell haha. 👀
I bought 8 of these from Walmart because they were nearly half priced (~$2.25). I put it about 8 feet from my side door. I left out to go to work and smelled death. It was the darn fly trap!!!! After a couple of days, I didn't even realize that the bag was a third full of flies. With this thing outside, the flies don't even try to fly into the house!!!
The trap works, but it is incredibly disgusting, especially once dead flies have been rotting in there for a couple weeks. The biggest problem is when the smell becomes unbearable and it is still full of the nastiest water on the planet. I have not found the top to be watertight and so have tried putting it in a ziplock, but it is so gross that I am still afraid to put it in my trash can.
Whatever is in the bait bag must certaintly work. My problem with these things, is you may be creating a problem by trying to fix a problem. You are catching more flies you'd normally not see in a few days of time. To the manufacturer, bravo... Sales must be through the roof. I don't think you would *ever* get rid of all the flies if you keep buying them. It's like an invisible magnet. _"They must be working - look at all the flies - LETS go to Home Depot and get some _*_more_*_ traps and the cycle continues"_ Brilliant marketing

I recently purchased the reusable one. It works fantastic!

Very cool. Thanks for sharing! 👍
This thing works great. Used it a couple times before
Wow very impressive! I work at a campground and I think these would be so helpful by the bathrooms. Thanks Jeff. 💕
They work well but keep several feet away from people, doors and windows. Smells like rancid rotting flesh.
@@DJxSlacker Thanks for tip and yes I'd have to put outside near bathrooms.
Our house sits on the shore of lake lavon in farmersvile Texas. Crazy flies as big as your thumb
This is an incredible product! I placed them next to my garbage cans and it was full in 4 days!
I have been really impressed as well. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I love your sign...... GO BILLS!!!!!
Oh yeah, go Bills! Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

Impressive.
You can even put it in another gallon Ziploc bag to completely secure

Jeff, you are an excellent reviewer! QVC should hire you! Lol. :^)
Love mine

You are the Best. Thank you!
Happy to help! Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
I've been using those traps for years. The downside is if you leave it up a while you'll start smelling decomposing fly bodies. Yuck.
That is gross, maybe that's why they state the 30 day use. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂 👍 🪰
I tried and couldn’t get green top through so then it has to big of whole now any way to salvage
It attracts flies but they just stay on the top inside the bag the flying away. None has fallen into the water. How come ?
I think I know why, and just posted about it.
I purchased two of them. One for each side of my yard.( 2weeks ago) They each have at least 2” of dead flies in them
They are pretty impressive. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Its worth it ❤

I agree. The odor is foul.

Thanks for sharing...my first time...hope dont get dissapointed...
What you feed your flies, they are big. Works well
Lol...that's how we grow them in the country. Thanks for taking the time to comment on this 🙂 🪰
I use these. They stink! But the flies go in there! I've even added extra water and it still works.
Very cool! The trap certainly helped with my fly issue. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍 🪰
Nice.
i remember my summer camp used this trap in the building. the whole building smelled bad for a whole week
Pity there isnt away to open it at the bottom to empty out the dead flies if you had chickens
You don't want to feed this to chickens, directions say wash hands with soap after handling.. but I like the idea of the bottom opening
A 1 gallon of ziploc bag with water and 2 pennies will keep fles away
Do you ziplock the bag closed with the pennies and water? Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🪰
@@Jeffreviews4uyes. Put the pennies in the Ziplock and fill it with water.
Eeeeeeek ! Well.the price is great and it does work , glad it drew them.away from you .

Yo puse una y las moscas se salen caminando por el mismo lugar por el que entran. Eso no funciona
