That's great that the leaf blower runs and didn't require any work and the mower just needed a new pull cord and an oil change to get running, Hondas are awesome, keep up the great work!
Can you do a video on the restoration of the Honda mower you've done plenty of Briggs mowers and would be good to see you back at mowers again keep up the videos Martin thanks for doing them there appreciate and enjoyed by many not just me
You'll probably find 10 pumps is plenty on the oil sucker. They work much better with hot oil unless you can fit the thicker tube down. I use mine every day servicing forklift trucks. Such a labour saver.
Haha, just realised you've got a cut and blow ( grass cutter and blower) think the ladies would appreciate the reference to hairdressers! Smart little blower. Great find Gary. Looking forward to the next video Martin.
I have an old Italian Aspire engine, its basically a single banger 1970-1980ish Tecumseh but built in Milano, parts and info on this one is super scarce too and I keep putting off getting it down to its knickers and sorted lol
Got an email to say you’ve uploaded a video , .... doing a nightshift atm ,can’t wait to the morning now to get home , have a coffee and watch a quality video 👍
That metal split on the lawn mower. That reminds me plasma cutter available in Lidl tomorrow 13/02. I am sorely tempted. Can finally retire the hacksaw and tin snips. 🎇🕶
Good to hear there's more mower stuff coming up, be interested to see the Izy resto. Just picked up a 2001 Ibea 530 (big Italian mower with a Briggs 5hp quantum) for £12 as a non runner, that was just as keen to start first pull after I'd replaced the fuel hose and put some oil in it. Can't believe how much the things sold for new though, the model i have was about £900 new :o I mean, it's a nice alloy deck 53cm cut jobbie but wow...
@@retrorestore yeah could be, I'm tempted to keep it for myself but considering it'd do both our lawns in about 15 passes i think it's a bit overkill haha. The feel of it, having an alloy deck though, just makes it nice & smooth to handle somehow.
Honda izys are cracking mowers and hold there money well ..About 5 years ago me and me dad changed a deck on his izy £80 new its a cracking mower again I brought one too and I swear by Honda mowers..
Love hondas I have a hrb425c to sort out and a hater harrier 48 just rebuilding my mountfeild m3 I think piston rings gone as only 50% compression ordering rings tomrw and hopefully that's another done.just rebuilt and resprayed a Suffolk punch 43dl that's ready to sell and I have a macculloch strimmer which I carnt seem to tune so gunna put another carb on it tomrw and hopefully that be ready to go...great find Gary 1st time starters some good profit to come fantastic job 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That blower its related to older Warrior/Mitox blowers. You should be able to get parts as Mitox only finished production of these in 2015. The Mitox version is known as a B-260 or a 26B and parts should be available from dealers selling their products. Plus those Honda Izy mowers are always abused and suffer with deck rot issues if the grass isn't washed off regularly.
That mower looks ex contractor with wheels worn like that for 6 years old. What you might find is it's been used by a contractor and fuel tap never shut off, when it's bouncing round in a trailer the float bobs up and down letting fuel in cylinder and in crank case hunce high oil level. Probably find it started to smoke n bloke thought it was kaput n scrapped it. Used to get it a lot with the petrol generators on our vans, takes a while for it to happen.
Martin, was that a cast deck or steel. If it is cast, you either have to braze it up or aluminum weld. Just wondering. It looks cast on the video. Thumbs Up for two great finds...
If your doing Berts welding and he's using all your tools, i think that leaf blower needs to be free of charge lol. What do you think Martin? Don't let Sharon get involved because we know who she will side for lol.
Great to see you and Gary in action
Cheers Snobby
That's great that the leaf blower runs and didn't require any work and the mower just needed a new pull cord and an oil change to get running, Hondas are awesome, keep up the great work!

Yes, good point Eddie
@@retrorestore we've had mechanics strip engines down and put rings in when all they needed was an oil change and user education!
Nice one keep up the awesome work thanks for the content

We like new suppliers! Izzy lol! Why don’t any of the Honda Mowers on my channel don’t get any cheeky names?
Haha Yes, it's a strange name Isy lol
You should get a ride on lawnmower and fix it up and make a mini series
Can you do a pressure washer vid as I really want one but don't want to end up with a lemon and would enjoy your expertise in sorting one out?
Looks like a new mower restoration vid coming.

He was trying to run it on lime cordial mart 😁👍
Haha, you may be right
What would happen if you put a short plug where a long plug belongs.
Not a lot really but putting a long plug where a short plug should be could hit the piston
My x Wife could n needs this @ 5. 22 !! LOL
How much did Gary get them for ? Just of interest
I'll have to ask him
Did you get the Crimping Tool Set, i sent you?
