That is weird. And IMHO... this could be bad in another way. Because if it's true, and Envy reached out to Budden about the 'opportunity from Cesar', that *could* establish Envy as a part of it. Not Budden's intent of course but if its probed and asked about and here you have admissions that Envy DID reach out...not totally sure but think that COULD be a problem...
I don’t think it’s much different than organizing seminars. Even tho it would be hilarious if envy actually gets held accountable, but it ain’t going to happen
@Robani03 You may be right. I mean though that Envy seems to keep saying he was swindled too and not a part of the scheme. But it looks super bad if people can recall Envy reaching out to them on Cesar's behalf to pull them in. I think it could harm plausible deniability. It's more about how it could be litigated - this is food for the victims lawyers - and honestly iHeart too.
@@alex1vid he was holding seminars. He was publicly embracing him for 1000, of people in total. If they will use that argument in court they already have enough with those seminars. I do want him punished tho. He has to know that making guaranteed 30% returns on your investment is impossible within such a short time (6months)in houses. Besides they were basically lending this fat goofy so he could buy/invest. If he was legit, he could’ve went to the bank. I don’t believe envy is that naïve

Nah making money with other people's money is a sound business plan. Its just the part about promising unrealistic returns on that money is what the problem is. Most billionaires are made with private investment dollars meaning private companies loan directly to the business. It becomes a partnership because the lender has a vested interest in seeing your company succeed. Where as public investors i.g banks,credit unions etc. Loan money based on likelihood of failure. In fact they hope you fail because the money they loaned you is FDIC insured which means if your business fails not only do the recoup part of their investment from the federal government the lendee is still on the hook for the total amount of the loan plus interest and any associated fees and penalties.
@jeromejenkins151 the FDIC only insures funds in a deposit account, almost all commercial or agricultural loans are not covered. Hopefully people know by now if someone can get your full investment back in 3 months, it’s a scam
@@The_Gray_Area trust me certain loans are backed by the FDIC. Not for the full amount. But just enough so that banks themselves don't go belly up if every loan goes into default. It happened during the first Bank Bailout during the Bush term not the bail out that happened during the Obama Term. It fell under the quote unquote "Too Big To Fail" era of banking. The housing loan market took such a hit the federal government had to start insuring X amount of a percentage of certain loans given so that the whole banking system wouldn't collapse. Example say I borrow 50k from a bank. 10k of it is FDIC insured. It's to aid the bank in sustaining itself during the collection process. Now not every loan has this. But if the loan is big enough you bet you're azz a percentage of it is FDIC insured to prevent nation wide banking collapses. an example would Student Loans which is why you can't declare bankruptcy on em. Because after a point it's not the actual financial institution you got the loan from that you owe. It's the actual federal government who insured the student loan that you actually owe.
