I live in EM as well and I just bought a Rydon GOAT. Hope to see you out on the trails. 🤙

How do you like it so far? Thinking of ordering myself one soon.

@@johnbailey6022 I absolutely love it. I rode it around some hills the other night on level 1 (pedaling mostly but the bike is still assisting) and I went 13 miles in 1 hour. The battery was at 97% after that! I used the throttle quite often just for fun. The motor and battery that comes on the Rydon GOAT is the same motor and battery that comes on the Backou Mule; just $1700 cheaper.

So what does this Rydon bike have that impressed you so much and being a game changer? I’ve been looking at the Rydon for a while now but have no way to test ride one.

Great question man! The Rydon has basically all the same parts as the high end Backou bikes, such as motor, brakes, tires and so forth. BUT Rydon bikes cost a lot less for the same quality.

11:49 That is wrong man. First of all, It is illegal to bicycle style ebikes to be in all classes as it defeats the purpose of classification. There is some wording in the 3 tier classification that a few manufacturers exploit to get around it and market their products as Class2/Class3, but that's certainly not in this case. Secondly, this bike is unclassified and it does not fall under the 3 tier classification since the motor power is greater than 750W.

Actually it varies for different locations. If you read the fine legal print for many locations it defines a class 2 ebike with no throttle and limited to 20 mph assist... Nothing about 750w. But I'm sure you are correct on specific areas! Good comment!
