Human nature remains the same. Religious leaders rejected the prophets in Old Testament times, yet garnished their tombs in feigned respect for them. In Jesus' time (NT) religious teachers pretended to honor and respect the prophets yet rejected almost everything they stood for and taught to uphold their own traditions. Of this Jesus said: But in vain (for nothing) they do worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men. (Mark 7:7) Many in the pulpits of today do the samething with the same results. Vanity. Nothingness in God's sight. So, so sad.
Thanks again Carla. More people should be using this very wonderful resource.
