Huh, though I find this video hilarious I never found this sound difficult to understand at all. I also grew up in the Northeast as did JC so maybe that's why this is easily decipherable to my brain
The point of the videos isn't to say the song sounds like those words, it's that if you read the text and don't focus on the words, you will start actually hearing the words on the text. It's an auditory illusion.
Wenomecha was, I believe, a Spanish-speaker writing what it sounded like phonetically. It's like that video of how to sing Despacito when you don't know the lyrics.
@@PhrozenFox Okay, so *yes* but in this case you actually have to focus to figure out the actual lines of the song because they're so soft and quick. It *enhances* the illusion.
I have not heard this song but is it "I don't understand, don't get upset, I'm not with you, I'm swimming around, it's all I do when I'm with you" ? Surprisingly intelligible once you say it out loud
And we will never be alone again 'Cause it doesn't happen every day Kinda counted on you being a friend Can I give it up or give it away? Now I thought about what I wanna say But I never really know where to go So I chained myself to a friend 'Cause I know it unlocks like a door

Still can't work out if it's OK for me, a native English speaker, to deliberately mispronounce English words in Japanese songs when I'm "singing" along
As a japanese speaker I agree, sometimes I get pronunciations of japanese words mixed up with english words, then everything is just a mess and I have to restart the song so I can understand better lol
English is not my native language so when I used to listen English songs I did not understand the lyrics ususally. I used to think it was due to my poor comprehension skills but Internet has made me realize I was not alone in this
I love how with memes like this, the lyrics are completely legible when you just listen to them, but as soon as you look at the text they just turn to gibberish
I actually had the opposite experience 😂 The lyrics were completely illegible when I just listened to the song, but I understood most of them after watching this.
Maybe it's just i that imagine how an Audio, Video, Disco album reaction would be considering you reacted to Cross and every Justice album has a different general feel to it, since Cross is their main focused album but not the only "good" album they have. Anyways, good video, this comes from someone who laughs at "heard" lyrics.
i played this video on my tv and the second it ended, the screen went green like it had a green filter over it. tried turning it on and off but the green cast remained. played this video again just in case it was cursed and the screen went back to normal. thanks for the laugh, cheers

i feel really bad about that - somehow making part 2 kept getting pushed back in the schedule (and my mind) until i kinda felt like it was too late and listened to the rest on my own. i very much enjoyed the album tho, and i'm glad to hear you enjoyed pt.1 :)
@catpoke9557 glad I'm not the only one with that problem. sometimes I get mad and sad thinking I'm not good enough to understand and sometimes I get proud of myself for understanding every word without seeing the lyrics. when I don't understand I just follow the lyrics while I listen to it and everything makes sense. despite that when I'm in an actual conversation I almost have no trouble in understanding people talking, specially when they have American accent
Finally, a video of incomprehensible lyric spelling where the lyrics genuinely are kinda hard to discern
