I love how strongest battlegrounds old footage is like the equivalent of watching roblox roleplays from 2008 where nobody knows how to spell or create or move.
The most nostalgic thing ive ever did in tsb is when a runner keeps running and it took us 3 hours literally and im kinda feel sad because i miss that guy cause the rage he gave me is the motivation for me to become pro at chasing who ever are you thank you so much
the first time i joined was when garou was still early access. a month later i convinced my friend to play it with me, and they had added table flip and probably some of garous moves.
I remember back in the day like 5 guys were trying to get me (like 1v1v1v1v1, or 5v1, idk, was so chaotic), it was like back when Garou was early access. It was crazy, I felt like some professional player back then. Now I'm somewhat average today.
Noticeable change in the old tsb are 1.Private servers were 50 robux and were changed 25 robux and are now free today 2.Ranked waiting lobbies were just platform in space 3.All characters had same m1s 4.Dummy(ofc) 5.'Bald hero' name was 'saitama' but was changed due to copyright issues and same with other characters 6.Tsb was named saitama battlegrounds and this resulted in copyright issues which resulted in a ban for a short while of the game 7. map 8.there were no characters icons before, there were just names and drawn faces of the characters 9.gamepass gifting wasn't a thing in the old tsb 10.there were no emotes before then and after they were added u needed 100 kills to get 1 emotes 11.Some of the garou ult moves and finishers got reworked 12.different accessories menu 13.Huge change in texture and effects 14.No throwable trashcans and wall combo 15.no killstreak 16.gojos purple 16.re naming of the saitama base moveset 17. Alot of games i used to play i quit due to it just losing the simple and basic fun gameplay after to much updates it would get overcomplicated but with the strongest battle grounds it always just stays simple and fun thats what makes it fun for me and i dont think ill ever get bored of it.

Speaking of physics holy grail, jujitsu sheninagans has parkour and you can break and interact with building. Not only that but even though it’s less on the graphics. It’s funnier on the finishers and battles alone. But let alone the funny tech and pvp on tsb is enough to solo jjs but you should still try it, and imagine the views and content you could get.
I remember when I first played there was this massive brown map and everything was just rough or incomplete. I remember having so much fun with the early-stages jank that honestly I still play it today similar to WellWorks. Ive seen the game progress to the current state and Im happy where its at (though with minor complaints that may or may not be skill issues).
The reason it’s so fun every battle is different every fight every interaction it’s all different every time you can try new combos in a bunch of stuff it’s what makes it so fun
I remember when I first played someone launched a serious punch and i was super confused and i didn't know how to do it till a week later also during that time garou was early access
i have only seen 3 changes in death counter. well obviously the sound when you just death counter someone, and the fist was changed to a cleaner model when omni-directional punch got added and just the shockwave of when you actually punched the person you death countered.
I first started playing this game when it was only just a baseplate. It's crazy to see how far it's come as a game. From a small game very loosely based on soulshatters, to its own extremely popular thing.
That shove tech guy wasnt the first one to make it because in the older map (dirt map) i saw a guy im not sure what his name was but it was something like blitz or so and he had that "true blue hair" hair on and he hit me (accidentally) with a shove tech but i had no idea how i wasnt knocked back fully and thought it was a glitch.

Imma just say this, the first ever time i have played The strongest battle grounds is when garou was Early Access, i then quit and played again when sonic was Early Access as well.
i remember the first time i joined was when the map was just a flat dark gray floor with 4 brick walls surrounding you, garou was early access, and the only ultimate was death counter.
After watching this I realized that one thing we complain is: after months and year it's the same we need updates , but in the games that get updates more recently ppl are like this so annoying I wish we had the old days back those days are so much better (So it's just unfair for Devs )

My first opponent was a dude that got so mad because i keep hitting him and he doesn't even get the chance to hit me. the death counter scene, with the eyes and the giant red fist is actually a room not a animated cutscene, the room itself is just a small pitch black room with the fist and eyes with invisible barriers inside of it they add some effects and move your camera to give it the effect.
I found it while searching for games with my friend, it was when the map was brown n very empty, only character was saitama that time. then i forgot about it few days later and came back when the map got updated and garou got added
