    Here are the Steps to Lock All or Specific Cells in Excel:
    1. Open your Microsoft Excel worksheet.
    2. Select the cells that you want to lock and right-click on it.
    3. Select format cells from the menu.
    4. Click on the "Protection" tab and then check the "Locked" option and click on "OK".
    5. Click on the "Review" tab in the excel ribbon.
    6. Click on "Protect Sheet" button in the "Protect" group.
    7. Enter the password (Optional) and make sure " Select locked cells" and "Select unlocked cells" options are checked and click "Ok".
    Selected cells are locked and protected. If anyone tries to edit those cells, they'll get a message saying the cells are protected.
