thanx for this .i think its madness that such important functions are hidden so you can never find them.truthfully,this is why most people (especially older) just dont like computer/digital recording .you spend more time working things out than actually recording anything. analog is so much easier and intuitive, even digital hardware recorders make some sense but cubase?daws? etc are a cruel teasing puzzle to me.

I love this cubase 7 software just going through the learning curve for my song composition recording projects. Just takes a time to learn this recording software I am glad I invested the funds. So any advice on a step I know im not taking to hear what I record.
I dont have a list of drivers. Only one. I'm having a lot of trouble with this and would love to figure it all out. Do you know why I have only one driver available to select?

I decided to record my guitar with RP355 as an interface but there is NO signal in Cubase. I checked the audio settings of my lap, and everything was ok (same as you on this video), I have signal on my audio card. if I connect the headphones in the RP355 (connected to laptop with USB cable) I can hear sounds like youtube videos, music etc. Please help with this issue.

i got no sound problems windows 10 using a zoom r24 for my interface, I had sound but something happened. I can even get anything . On my pc out put I have all kinds of choice but only one set of speakers show the PC speakers when I had speakers before but they are no longer there. It all happened yesterday. tried everything I know of except rolling back. Any ideas?
This video didn't help me. I realised my problem was that I had the "monitor" button on the audio track selected. Deselecting that sent the output through my computer speakers. Hope that helps anyone if they have the same problem.

I'm using Cubase 5 with an Mbox- I'm getting the monitor signal- I'm hearing my guitar through the headphones on the Mox. Speaker out - channel shows monitoring signal. Did you add a input/output bus in The VST connections (F4)? This need to be done for your ports to be active.

Shivang shukla go to studio or devices select audio connections and on output change both to the output you desire

When I speak into mic all the levels are working even in sound card in pc but there is a step I am not doing to hear what I am recording.
