  • Hey fish fam. I found a crack!
It's ok, it doesn't really matter. But I do want to talk about why it happened and how it could have been avoided.

Did you put holes on your acrylic all around and used screws? Or just the silicone to seal them? Thanks..

I just used silicone. The windows themselves rest on the actual frame of the tank, so there's no weight to support, it's just acting as a gasket.

@@MischiefandFins great info I'll do that. Your opinion is very valuable if you can please tell me your thoughts.
I want to build a plywood tank of basically the size of the plywood that would be 4x8 and 3/4 thick with frame on the outside, not sure if I should put fiberglass in all seams or plywood unions, and then just cover in macropoxy 646 and placing a front acrylic 1 X 40 X 88 and have 2 in of space for the silicone. So actual view would be 3ftx7ft and design is basically just a rectangle using overall the size of the plywood that would be 4x8 front back and bottom and 4x4 on the sides. What do you think and pointers I would really appreciate...
