The way we have wasted money on Lahore and made the whole country indebted, if we had invested so much money in Balochistan province today, we would be far ahead in the world. Neither are there any natural resources that would take us further nor any sea port. This is an artificial market that has been created by immersing the whole country in debt.though the travelling ,migrating ,brand expenses of lahore are drowning the currency. such type of revenues can be gained within any city by locally providing the comodities. Just 50-60 km away from lahore ,there is a hell of differences in infrastructure. You can witness by visiting gujrat,gujranvala ,sialkot ,sheikhpura etc. Though the voice of equality came from south ,where there is almost the same infrastructure . Either the whole debt wasted on lahore should be returned back from lahore to imf or there must be no more waste of money on lahore untill and unless we are debt free . 50-60 percent population of lahore is migrated one due to artificial market . You can witness a medical college after every 5km in lahore while in rest of province ,you have to travel almost 100 to 200 km to get a serious patient get checked in tertiary care . The travelling expense in the form of petrol is also hampering the country progress. There are only 36-37 districts in punjab , If lahore had not indebted everyone ,then every district would had there own university,college and artifical market.
Dear how has Lahore indebted country , its the second largest city of Pakistan with Population more than 15 million , greater than entire Balochistan. The problem with Balochistan is its population is very small and cities are far away less population density. Now Balochistan will prosper InshAllah. And you will see the difference after 10 years.
Alot of investment would have gone to Balochistan if it wasn't an area of 400000kms + and a population smaller than a small city like Lahore... Investment always goes where there is a concentrated population .Plus lahoris didn't start killing people for being outsiders like it happened in 90s in Balochistan..Lahore has welcomed people from every ethnicity and it should be appreciated for it..and now to your debt questions...Most of the debt this country owes is because of servicing previous debts ...Alot of the debt that Lahore ,Multan , Faisalabad acquire for mega projects is through Punjab government ... Even the metro everyone was hating came through a debt that Punjab government took and is giving back on its own... I think people of Balochistan need to focus on their Major cities now the billions of rupees that go as budget for Balochistan are always unaccounted for and politicians have found a easy way to always blame it on other provinces and silently loot their people's rights.. .there are so many medical college in Lahore because it's the capital of the province that's how it's supposed to be and secondly there is no major city in Punjab that's without a medical college ..I being a resident of Punjab have no authority to comment on Balochistan affairs but being an ethnic Baloch I feel a connection to people of Balochistan..It's high time for Baloch people and leaders to select 1 or 2 cities and keep developing them and urbanize these couple of cities... Balochistan as a whole cannot be developed it's a foolish dream ... And soon this argument of other provinces taking advantage will be flawed once again...The money from reqo diq will directly be transferred to Balochistan no other province is getting even a 1 percent share.. if the estimates are right then that's more than 100 billion dollars for the next 20 years for a population that's merely 20 million..that's alot of money if spent right and invested in clusters of population ...I think Balochistan government best bet would be developing turbat,gwadar and Quetta..just focus on these and slowly people will start moving in and urbanization will definitely bring the much needed private investment the province needs.Good luck to the people of that beautiful peice of land.
I am from Multan, the Balochistan is only about 180 kilometres from my city, but I can't think of this that I can go to Balochistan, if I will go there I would be killed, I had lot of relatives in Quetta but all have shifted to Punjab, because they were threatened by some locals to be killed, they sold all their properties on less then half price and shifted their businesses from Quetta to Islamabad and Lahore, so dear that's a big misfortune with Balochistan, that's why it is under developed,

Dear how has Lahore indebted country , its the second largest city of Pakistan with Population more than 15 million , greater than entire Balochistan.
The problem with Balochistan is its population is very small and cities are far away less population density.
Now Balochistan will prosper InshAllah. And you will see the difference after 10 years.
Alot of investment would have gone to Balochistan if it wasn't an area of 400000kms + and a population smaller than a small city like Lahore...
Investment always goes where there is a concentrated population .Plus lahoris didn't start killing people for being outsiders like it happened in 90s in Balochistan..Lahore has welcomed people from every ethnicity and it should be appreciated for it..and now to your debt questions...Most of the debt this country owes is because of servicing previous debts ...Alot of the debt that Lahore ,Multan , Faisalabad acquire for mega projects is through Punjab government ...
Even the metro everyone was hating came through a debt that Punjab government took and is giving back on its own...
I think people of Balochistan need to focus on their Major cities now the billions of rupees that go as budget for Balochistan are always unaccounted for and politicians have found a easy way to always blame it on other provinces and silently loot their people's rights..
.there are so many medical college in Lahore because it's the capital of the province that's how it's supposed to be and secondly there is no major city in Punjab that's without a medical college ..I being a resident of Punjab have no authority to comment on Balochistan affairs but being an ethnic Baloch I feel a connection to people of Balochistan..It's high time for Baloch people and leaders to select 1 or 2 cities and keep developing them and urbanize these couple of cities... Balochistan as a whole cannot be developed it's a foolish dream ...
And soon this argument of other provinces taking advantage will be flawed once again...The money from reqo diq will directly be transferred to Balochistan no other province is getting even a 1 percent share..
if the estimates are right then that's more than 100 billion dollars for the next 20 years for a population that's merely 20 million..that's alot of money if spent right and invested in clusters of population ...I think Balochistan government best bet would be developing turbat,gwadar and Quetta..just focus on these and slowly people will start moving in and urbanization will definitely bring the much needed private investment the province needs.Good luck to the people of that beautiful peice of land.

I am from Multan, the Balochistan is only about 180 kilometres from my city, but I can't think of this that I can go to Balochistan, if I will go there I would be killed, I had lot of relatives in Quetta but all have shifted to Punjab, because they were threatened by some locals to be killed, they sold all their properties on less then half price and shifted their businesses from Quetta to Islamabad and Lahore, so dear that's a big misfortune with Balochistan, that's why it is under developed,

Same thing happened in Karachi in 1990s when mqm was born the muhajirs started killing people and the era of fear began...
