The strange thing is, most evidence suggests that Persephone actually preferred being with Hades and ruling the underworld with him. Aside from the whole kidnapping and pomegranate things, (the former of which was orchestrated by Zeus,) they had pretty much the most functional, loving relationship in the Greek Pantheon. That being said, I love this version where Persephone slowly warms up to Hades who does what he can to make her comfortable. It's really sweet, and I hope the story continues some day.🌸💀💜

What an interesting take on the mythology. I'm not too familiar with Hades and Persephone, but I think they have the healthiest relationship if I'm not mistaken. Most evidence suggests that despite being kidnapped (which was orchestrated by Zeus out of spite) Persephone actually came to enjoy being married to Hades and ruling the underworld by his side. Their relationship was healthier than most of the gods which is saying a lot.

Just read comments who know some lore and hearing she and Hades had one of best relationships. Pretty sweet, man Greece mythology is really something. Probably a reason why peachy made an audio about it, anywho lovely audio, this version of Hades who’s making her comfy and Tsundere Persephone warming up to him.
I always felt bad for the way most media portrays Hades. He is one of the few Greek Gods who didn’t really ever do anything bad. I love how you portrayed Persephone. I hope you make this series.

What I find interesting is that in the actual mythology she prefers being with Hades because she hates her mom. They have by far the best relationship in Greek Mythology and Hades is actually pretty chill in the myth. He’s not the Hollywood version of hades they just go “ah god a the underworld he’s a bad guy” while the actual myth is like “sure I’m around dead people all the time but hey it’s home I’ve got my loving wife and my dog”

According to new research, it's actually based on a mistranslation of the Ancient Greek term for bride price being similar to the word for kidnapping. In the legend, Hades only takes Persephone after he gets permission from her father, Zeus, who's also his brother in the older tradition. Honestly, barring the bit with the pomegranates and what happened to Minthe, Persephone and Hades probably had the healthiest marriage of any of the Greek gods, though that's still only by comparison to the rest.
