the cat represents amanda whos lonely and has no one to love her, hence why she reacted like that. she was so agitated the demon took over. other than that she cared about no other animal. she laughed at the dead animals and treated wooly like shit for no reason. but she related to the cat who was lonely and had no one to care for it. its same for amandas situation. her dad went missing and had to be by herself and her demons
