Can't imagine the anguish and pain having to watch your little baby go through treatment for cancer. Horrific. Glad Emmerdale is raising awareness for this type of cancer which is so common in children. 😢
As the mother of a son who had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and is now 7 years cancer free, its good to see a soap raising awareness of this cancer, before my sons diagnosis id no clue what Leukemia was! ❤

What a rough thing to hear and experience.
This is a very sad story line and you see Dawn and and with everything she has she has been through in her life she is a great mother too her children and this story line is going too be the sadness thing Dawn and Billy are going too go through and so many tears it is going too be a very sad story line !!😭☹
Emmerdale already did this storyline when Sarah Sudgen had Fanconi Anemia then developed into Lukemia then Debbie had the saviour sibling Jack for her.

Emmerdale really likes depressing storylines. They already killed off Grace a couple of years ago. Why another terminal ill baby storyline.
Most likely because its things people sadly go through so they want it to be realistic/relatable story lines.

Hate storylines like this. Whilst this isn't real, it's just horrible to think about the real babies going through this. My heart goes out to them and their poor parents ❤
Really hope Evan lives through it though, would be nice to see a happy ending to a storyline that's so depressing and heartbreaking. Give some sort of hope to those actually dealing with this maybe.

It would be nice if they explained WHY they need to determine which type it is if they are just going to start treatment either way without knowing for sure. if they are starting treatment without the test result being back, why does it matter which type?
Doing the genetic tests let's them know if there are any genes that could be causing the leukaemia as that can then derminte what haapens later. Majority of treatment is the same for everyone but certain things such as genetic causes means they may need additional rounds of certain chemotherapy. It's also vital treatment starts immediately as this is actue lymphoblastic leukaemia which is fast growing.
My daughter is currently undergoing treatment for this exact thing.
@@JessicaR113 It would be nice if the show could explain that- to people not in the know it just seems pointless. if they are going to raise awareness then do it right

Yeah I can see your point 100% it's alot of information to cover so I think they are trying to get the most important parts included in the storyline, without getting too technical. They should hopefully explain things in more detail as the storyline goes along.
Shes doing great thankyou, her end date for treatment is next January so she's been at it the last 17 months. It's such a long process I just hope they show how much it really effects your whole life.
