  • This is the second lesson. It contains exercises for driving and dribbling a ball in basketball, which are performed by children aged 3 to 13 years in sports schools. They are ideal for both beginners and amateurs who want to strengthen their basic skills. Perhaps for someone this will be the first step in answering the question: How to learn to play basketball?
On my training, I took the following exercises. For simplicity, I'll list them and set the start time:
    1. Dribbling with your fingers (1:05)
    2. "The Piano" (1:20)
    3. Keeping the ball lying on the back (2:10)
    4. Low, medium and high ball control (2:55)
    5. Crossover 5-0-5 (3:30)
    6. Moving the ball sitting under your feet (3:55)
    7. Transferring the ball under the foot (4:40)
    8. Keeping kneeling (5:35)
    9. Transfer of the ball behind the back (6:15)
    10. The Eight (7:00)
    11. Work in motion with cones (7:50)
    12. Two steps to the ring, throw (8:50)
    13. Dribbling with two balls (10:05)
Learning the basics of dribbling is not a simple process and requires knowledge of technique, diligence, mindfulness in training and coach advice. By doing these exercises you will be able to master more complex elements and tricks that will be useful in the game and just on the basketball court. All success! Let the basketball in Russia develop!
