What monsters sing to their kids to make them behave. Just as human mothers have lullabies to sing to their kids to make them behave warning them against danger, I can imagine a mother Bruxa or Hag warning their children that if they don't behave, the white wolf will get them.
This is a usual way of mankind for educating kids for centuries..creepy fairytales, lullabys and other stories, which have been told to kids in their daily life by their grandparents..why do u wonder?!..Today as an adult, I don´t tell the exactly same stories to my children, but guess what: I heard all that stories in my childhood and I´ve learned a lot as a kid. So, yes, I tell them creepy fairytales and lullabys and I let their grandparents tell stories. But this gots NOTHING to do with behaving well, its just for learning about the world..and believe me..kids can handle creepy things a lot better than any adult :-)

It can be either. "Anxious" can be intended as "Restless", it doesnt necessarily mean they are scared. "To lie" can be used in place of "to be somewhere" or "to stay" (that's why the line in LOTR is "Mordor where the shadows LIE"). The song can still be about the witcher who stands restless in the woods fearing no manner of monsters
You have one of the most beautiful and expressive voices I have ever known. I feel like you captured the haunting strings you hear throughout the game with your VOICE, especially at 1:36. It all sounds so Witcher and very much a part of the soundtrack and its aesthetic. Breathtaking, spooky, captivating. Thank you for making this version. 🖤

Where i live, there are 3 languages that are mandatory to know in order to run a normal life and are taught since first grade all the way to senior in highschool and we are required to have a state examination and ace it to be able to have a highschool diploma and without it you cannot have a job or apply to academic studies. the fourth? Well, after the first r it really is no biggie
I absolutely love this song - found it from the trailer for the game and then once I noticed Karliene had done a version I just can't stop playing it. It's my wedding tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I'll still be subconsciously singing it myself when my fiancee walks down the aisle :P
I absolutely love this song 😮😮😮 your voice is so enchanting for this style of music. I especially love the part with the clanking of metal when I get deep into my own world , and that part happens I get shivers of excitement haha.
The harmonics between the voices mimics the hurdy gurdy timbre in the soundtrack at times which is really amazing and well done.
I hope this is the theme song for the Netflix series.
