Oh, and btw, got to pitch there in a game twice. Oh, and after I got taken out, got to sit in the bullpen and screw around on the phones to the dugout.
Players used juiced up bats for BP. When Sammy Sosa got caught using a corked bat in game, his defense and excuse was that he had mistakenly used a juiced up (corked) BP bat, by accident. What I’m saying is; if you used an official MLB BP/warmup bat, & some actual balls, you’d have a better chance of putting one over the wall and in the seats.

Not with a soft pitch. You could easily turn on a 80-85 mph fastball and poke one out. At this speed and with a wood bat, you pretty much have to be a, well, major leaguer in order to hit it our consistently

pinstripe11 I used a elastic band to break it in. The best way to break it in is using it though at this time of year that may not be the best option.😉
Hey, thanks! Just a little blob (like a tablespoon) should be good for a patch maybe as big as your bare hand. That's a random estimate, but hopefully you get the idea.
Best way to break in a glove is by using it. All the oils and shaving cream break down the leather and weaken it. The oil is good to recondition it in the off season.
