    These are. great practical moves. I’ve used the groin strike after slipping left to the persons wild right and delivering low uppercut in a street altercation. Then I took off running.

    I do MMA training for recreational and particularly for self-defense purposes on a regular basis. It's a modified version of MMA particularly for self-defense, utilizing kicks and punches to keep your attacker at bay or from a safe distance, nasty elbows and knees for close-range fighting, as well as headbutts, groin strikes, strikes to the back of the head, groin and head stomps, and strikes to the eyes at close-range. I also incorporate knife fighting skills in my training.

      Perfect for beginners. Then there's conditioning (don't forget, you come to training to make yourself better than you were before. You won't be able to learn how to fight with a weak and unprepared body). For example, now I'm punching a punching bags and wooden makiwaras hard and I'm ok with that (cause I've got my fists damaged a lot before and now they can handle this)

    And also Green Valley one question I know I've said this before about deciding which Kung Fu style the most famous and popular to choose from Shaolin to Wing Chun both work it all depends on the practitioner

      I'm telling you I'm into shelling and Wing Chun but I can't learn a boat only one and both are good for self-defense and fighting most famous and popular Kung Fu styles

    • @walterevans2118
      @walterevans2118 4 года назад

      You can't learn a boat ? ....Ah, ok.....When you say 'shelling' do you mean you throw a lot of blows like in a Wing Chun salvo ? .....If you combined shelling with a boat and learned to do it in a BIG boat you could have a BATTLESHIP ...Like the Bismark ,,,or the Scharnhood...or the H.M.S Prince of TIRPITZ.

    Head but is not a good idea. Sure you can rattle their brain, but you are also rattling yours.

    • @JKDandWingChun
      @JKDandWingChun  4 года назад +2

      OldNatty you won’t absorb much negative impact when executed properly. Once again, think of this as an incidental “head jab”. It’s not a head smash, which is dangerous, inaccurate and even foolhardy. What we’re talking about is a short, controlled action that is devastating to the enemy’s face when infighting. Furthermore, this tactic teaches the infighter proper head position on the inside, which greatly reduces defensive lapses by keeping you low, covered and compact.
      Thanks for the input.

      @@JKDandWingChun Yeah that's what they all say, but do you really want to risk your computer as an impact weapon in the chaos of battle when there are more durable less vulnerable weapons available?

      @@oldnatty61 The goal is to use the hardest part of your head(The top) against the weakest part of theirs(face).

      @@combatsportlover6919 Totally understand. Too risky in the chaos of a real fight. The head houses your computer. I'd much rather send in a more durable non-thinking tool.
