Todi, Kambhoji, Bhairavi Alapana followed by Syama Sastri's Magnum Opus of a Swarajathi ❤ Brilliant exposition, no words... loved the slow, unhurried, Bhava infused pace❤ Loved singing along. Brilliant start to the Ensemble.
Very calm and peaceful feeling of a lullaby of soft voices synchronising to melodious sound rhythm. Accompanying instruments are acting like subtle notes to the synchronised voices. A very pleasing innovation 👌🏼👏🏼
Feel like listening again and again! So calming and devotional! All credits to Divine Mother, Sri Shyama shastriji( composer) and the team of singers who have done more than 100 percent justice to the composer' s bhaava!!
Importance is given to voice is a brilliant idea, Violin sound is also subtle giving respect to the idea, great cooperation between the artists must be appreciated, would be great to listen to the other songs as well, great innovation by madrasana
Lovely ensemble and a creative rendition of this immortal composition by Shyamashastri garu! High quality production from Madrasana as always! Looking forward to listening to more from this album/series! Thank you for sharing! I would like to know the significance of including Todi and Kamboji in addition to Bhairavi in the short alapanai, if any. Thanks!
There are 3 main Swarajathis composed by Sri Shyama Shastrigal. Thodi, Harikamboji and Bhairavi. Hence the Thodi and the Harikamboji glimpses before taking up the Bhairavi Swarajathi.
We have not thought through it yet. Maybe next year. We are currently busy with our December season. You can catch them live on stage if you like on Dec 25th at 5 PM.
Madrasana is my favourite for long for many reasons. This is a worthwhile effort bringing three singers from the same "stable" to vocalize the great Swarajati. Since the Todi and Y'Kambhoji prefaced it, it appears they may sing the other two Swarajatis too.. However I must say I found the tempo too slow for my comfort and perhaps even the singers'. A more natural tempo would bring out the best in their voices also perhaps. Just my opinion. No offence intended. The soundscape could do with more bass emphasis esp. for mridangam and khanjira.
Definitely would want to listen to all songs from this album!❤
If only you knew what else was sung in this concert!❤
This is so lovely! Please do release the other songs as well.

Thank you for your feedback. Will let the artists and the sound team know.
The best voices by far are Vignesh and G. Ravikiran - confused why Rithvik center stage…
Contrasting dress, may be?
Skilful but boring!
Awesome 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏
