Moral Points are returning in Last Light implying another double ending. I for one am pleased by this. Moral Points in 2033 encouraged the player to explore and eavesdrop on various people Artyom encounters in his otherwise hellish journey through the Metro. Take Black Station for example. If you stealth it, you can overhear Nazi soldiers conspiring to take their families to Hanza and leave it all behind or even the legend of the Invisible Watchers which is scarily accurate about the Dark Ones.

5 Because America/the west views Russia as all poor and still communist.
Just one thing: for number 5, the game was developed by a Ukrainian game company, not American/"Western". So the game and costumes were not made from the point of view of anyone in the west.
With that being said, half of Ukraine doesn't like Russia either lol
Mandi J Haters.... :(
The series is based off of a book written at the height of The Cold War by a Russian. The first game in the series has the title of the book. Since at that time everybody assumed that the CCCP would last forever he set the book in the far future as a Science Fiction story. Sort've like how the book Red Alert inspired Dr. Strangelove.
>2 Cannot comment on inbound missiles being destroyed by defences as know nothing about this, but assume are not 100% else ICBM's would be kind of useless.
This was made canon in 2035.
Nope, when I first saw that I thought "I bet that's Artyom" when it came to the baby.
At 2:00 he say:"Open the door!"

I really wish they had stayed loyal to the original books but I can't complain with what we've been given so far. Fantastic.
Триллер на 2023 год ?
Looking at Ukraine right now, this trailer might predict our future accurately to the time period...
All of a sudden that mad preacher looks less and less mad.
FPSKillstreak how is Ukraine doing now? I was born in Ukraine but moved away when I was 6.
Currently still at war with Russia ever since Russia moved in and annexed Crimea from Ukraine and now eastern region is occupied by Russia as well.
2021?
Metro is an awesome game. but is very underrated
I like few video games but I respect very few video games.
I like and respect the metro game series. This game has a very well defined plot which includes post apocalyptic era, feelings, humanity etc.. Not just a shallow plot with just run and gun.
Recommend you all to read the book :) it's awesome!
This is the end, God help us
The first one was amazing.
The only fear I have is that there doesnt seem to be many "monsters" in the game. I liked that part of the first one, half of the time you fought people, half of the time monsters, right now I have only seen battles between artyom and some germans.
This gave me shivers. Simply amazing.
Maybe the close future
Moscow from the video is not similar to the real Moscow.
Eugenio Hertz Not that gray and not that "USSR-ed"
They filmed this in Kiev.
Anatoly Denisow А чтонибуть вобше совпадает?
Alex Uturgaidze Nearly not. This Moscow looks really damaged and grey. But policemen behaviour and interior of Metro station looks pretty similar to the real one.
Anatoly Denisow А по игре?
