The tip of focusing on surviving helped me HUGE last wipe. I only played until level 20, and while this probably isn't mind blowing to some, I only played 55 raids total to get their. Surviving and doing as many quests as possible in one raid is the key. PVP can wait until later.
@@ewlynnn I just avoid all the fights and focus only on my quests then pvp the rest of the wipe. Just don’t want to be on quests for 2 months wasting my time
Awesome! TL,DR: 1. Go where loot is and players aren’t. 2. Don’t waste time on tasks that won’t lead to other tasks. 3. DO prep for tasks well before you get them. 4. Prioritize survival over kills early-wipe. And I’ll add one of my own for 12.12: if you get backed into a corner, don’t be scared to ask for leniency over VOIP. Pretty much 90% of encounters where I’ve been in a tight spot so far this wipe, I’ve been able to negotiate my way out and keep that sweet sweet Found in Raid status.
As someone who just bought the game, a huge factor is knowing where to look for items. I end up running around trying to kill and picking things up. It’s definitely something that I’m trying to work on changing
I love this video! One of things that I started doing this wipe was big picture thing, which has helped me get along way faster than my previous tasks. The only thing to take in consideration when tasking is your skill level, how well you are pvp wise, knowing your maps, and overall knowing Tarkov mechanics. I think that this is the only thing that may be a hinder to most players
Very useful guide! This wipe I did most of what you said like stacking quests and grabbing items in advance plus ignoring the dead end quests until I could stack them. But the main reason I didn’t progress as quick as I wanted was because even when I was questing i would still just W key into every fight and end up dying 50% of the time. I think what you said about ignoring fights until you max traders is very good advice which I will definitely adhere to next wipe. Hopefully i can max traders within the first week.
Best of luck man! For me it’s really hard to hear gun shots and not run to them but I just want to get my “chores” of maxing the traders done early so I can be done with all that and use meta guns / armor
I started in October and reached Lvl 41 with a surv rate of 45% and a scav Karma of 5.02. Biggest drop was a Purple Key card^^ Finished with maxed out Hideout(50/50 Bitcoinfarm), 40 mil stash worth and 24 mil in Cash + decent amout of €/$. Pretty Pround for someone whos not that good in other Shooter games. I am really hyped to start this Wipe and to show my Knowledge i got from playing ^^
Lmao I love it when people speedrun the wipe and then complain that there is no content but nice video, these tips are great for newer players to progress further than their last wipe! :)
Thank you so so much. Been trying to find info on speedrunning and the advice I'd see is "Just play the game and do tasks". Gonna try starting Interchange next wipe.
@@kelaiah_ I literally have to do everything so I do everything for kappa. The problem being it’s so rng what items u will or won’t find for quests so the order changes. I value all traders the same cause I need to level all but will focus on ones that I’m super close to leveling. Overall my strategy involves working on as many tasks at once as I can while collecting items for future tasks. So I might go customs to do 6 quests while also looting items for other quests. I wish I could say do x quest then y quest but the truth is you might stick on salewas and I might get stuck on cowboys hats. We all get stuck in different places
the dead end tasks you talks about like the usual "kill x scav" tasks , are what me and my friends refer to as "Passive/background quests" It's quests we track once or twice and just remember so we can rush scav spawns on map while doing our primary quests and gather kills on raids. We just get it out of the way while trying to complete more important quests, and not 100% focus on just killing scavs in one raid.
Dead-end tasks are tasks that either lead onto Non-Kappa required quests or No quests at all. While their prize may be good, it would be a waste for me to do them early wipe without doing other tasks that lead onto more Kappa required quests/tasks!
Really good, fast and Clean Video. Knew many of the Tipps, but especially avoiding dead end Tasks.... Never really thought of it, thanks for Sharing your advice + the good Video Quality Overall! Hope for more!
i personally go customs, get scavs and maybe a dorm. Then i always and i mean always get a bigger backpack and go reserve. Reserve just has such insane loot. Every succesfull raid i've had there has been a million + even the bad ones. I once even got a scav run worth 1,6
Basically what he's saying is put as much time as you can into this game and you'll know where everything is eventually 🤣 no seriously good content helped me understand a few things especially on tasks and the real benefit and importance of lvling traders
damn, that was a nice video! me and my friends just started playing a month ago and although it was pretty unrewarding sometimes the game still hooked us :) we didn't really focus on quests that much and just scaved... will definitely share this video, thanks man! earned a sub :)
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the sub! As someone who used to do the same as you try getting max traders one wipe. It’s a whole different game when you can build meta guns for cheap and barter for class 6 / 5 armor for cheaper than it is on the flea
Could possibly make a guide like that but honestly it’s semi rng depending on what quests u can get done at what time do to not being able to find items. Like setup and silent caliber are two you would pair up. I do the guide while doing test drive, i do grenadier and punisher part 6. Shoot their legs out with Svd and try to nade them. If they’re geared just kill them with svd
Something I don't understand, you say you bring a mosin to 1 tap killa, but don't hit him in the faceshield or helmet, where are you hitting him to 1 tap him?? And what are you doing with his gear that early on? Do you bring it straight in, save it for later on use, save it to sell on the flea? Thanks!
You can one tap him in the helmet anywhere but the face shield. And yeah I’ll use it right once I get it you’re pretty much invincible when you wear it day one
For sure, the military stuff is pretty much nonexistent now after the dynamic loot era it kind of removed all those spawns but it still had good container loot

Get level 2 by inspecting every trader item then restart game
Can u make a task progression list Google doc for us? Like how you went thru task order.
It would be useless because we would get stuck in different points
