We were there, on the beach this summer, about 5 miles from home. I grew up in Freehold. Bruce is about 10 years older than me. My older sisters were wearing grooves in his albums in the early '70's. His first two albums are still my favorites. Love you forever Bruce!
jelly - me too. I saw Bruce and E Street Band at Citizen's Bank Park this past August, 2024. Great show. But they didn't do this song. Trey's band does an admirable job with it here. (musician's pet peeve: it's missing the Fender Rhodes electric piano sound on this rendition. The Rhodes gives the song the jazzy slighty harder biting piano edge that's on the original recording. I don't think the acoustic piano (sound) cut it for this song.)
And to think phish looked at playing wild & innocent for a halloween gig (prob '96 -- it was page's suggestion). Picture a Kitty's Back > I Didn't Know > vacuum solo > Kitty's Back
Agree. Felt it was gonna be heard to top it later w E-Street. And while Bruce and the band's set and performance was off the charts, and topped! Bruce's 50th birthday show at the Spectrum, this song, at that moment, was on another level. A spiritual, connect all to One, level.

@@keepgrindingup7661 Trey’s set was very good.

Amazing these Musicians that can just jump into an amazing jam from another Band !?
Sound/vibe to this was incredible. Warm sun + cool ocean breeze, I’ll cherish seeing this live
Wow, awesome! Great video quality and thanks for sharing!
Great video thanks for sharing
We've got Springsteen
'cause we got a band
And we've got Springsteen in the band !
Best Bruce Jam Ever , Love to see other Bands able to hang with it ! 😊
ruclips.net/video/35vtIyFOjsY/видео.html. I'll take this one.
TAB and Bruce! Wow. Thats awesome.
All night!
Why the hell is trey always wearing winter clothes on summer gigs ?? Tshirt trey is best trey!!😂 This was pretty damn awesome too.
It was windy on the beach 😅
Us skinny guys get chilly.
He clearly thinks he lives in the UK!
Have been wondering about that for several year too makes zero sense whatsoever to me, but then I can't say how it feels to be him.

First!
Trey should've used the stairs out front
Honestly Trey had to hold back in my opinion. This is simple blues and 1 st year guitar player can learn.
I don’t think trey has felt this good since at least 2004… 😂
I think I liked this ever more than Bruce's whole set.
Clearly not the least bit a Bruce fan 😂
@@roberttsikalas2078 You caught me. ;)
Shouldn't take much...
