Jared smiles so much more here than he has in his more recent concerts... I'm definitely not saying that he doesn't have fun/enjoy himself anymore, but you can tell that he really loves playing their old style the most. Who wouldn't? It's freaking kickass space rock... Oh well, maybe they'll go back to their roots with their new album. Even if they don't I'm sure it'll still be good, just wish it went back to reflecting what the name kind of implies. :)
Shayna Raye I am also hoping that they want to return to one of their earlier styles in the next album. I like all of their styles, but it would be cool if they went back, because you don't hear music like that anymore. But, whatever they do, it's all good.
If they would play some of these old songs at each tour stop people would know the songs and be excited for it. Older fans would come back to see the band, and there is no reason why they can't have a mix of old and new songs on a set list, most bands do.
Honestly, I don't follow them but I have to say I agree totally with you!! And Jared Leto 'Stage diving... I wouldn't mind being underneath when he jumped haha
I'm sad that they don't play old songs anymore, but here you can clearly see why. They want the audience to have fun, to jump, to sing their song and get crazy, and only a few people know their old songs. And these songs don't fit anymore in their style, and like here, people will only stay still, maybe like the song but that's it. That's not that they are denying their past, it's that they want to give to their audience what they mostly want.

Either he's sticking to a routine now to play it safe or he's even disappointed in how everything turned out secretly. What happened? Why is he so depressed and tired all the time it seems like?
