Oh hun I’m 63 years old and I’ve always wanted to be more self sufficient and always wanted to homestead and I got a message back in 1983 to prepare! That solidified his message and what I must do. I’m still preparing my home but the last couple of days have been tough for me, I feel all the hatred the evil around the world and it’s seems to escalated just this week unless I’m just crazy but i really don’t think I’m alone in my thinking. Yesterday I thought my head would explode from all the lies and propaganda videos I was seeing. So I decided I was only going to watch certain videos for the next couple of days to distance myself from all the craziness. I do pray for myself to remain calm so I can soldier on but it’s become harder and it’s only going to escalate I’m afraid. So I pray for calm and continually of getting my house in order in one way or another ❤🙏💪🏼🙏💪🏼🙏
My husband and I tried to find a movie to watch on Netflix the night before last and it was weighing on me so heavily how saturated media is in propaganda. I can’t even watch a movie anymore. It made me sick.
I so agree with you @CThomas. After a few hours of my husband watching continuously, I begged please turn that stuff off it’s making me anxious. I understand wanting to know what happened….but hours of it is NOT HELPING or Healthly! The Bible tells us Not to be afraid….but it also tells us to be Wise! What ever assets you have use them wisely. The Bible also has many examples of how God told people to prepare…not hoard…prepare. I think you are reminding people there are things we can do to use our assets well.
From a water standpoint. My husband drinks cherry juice everyday to keep gout away so we end up with lots of glass juice jars. I clean them well, fill with water and water bath them. It doesn't cost me anything and then I have shelf stable water.

Oh yes. I LOVE the Holy Spirit. I’m early in my discipleship journey, so I’m still learning. But I feel very connected to this incredibly close and personal member of the Trinity.
Great message and you are absolutely correct in saying you can homestead on just about any amount of land. We had 3/4 of an acre and produced tons of food on our suburban homestead. We had quail, chickens, rabbits , and seasonal turkeys. We stopped buying meat and eggs from the grocery around 2012 except for the occasional steak. Most of our vegetables came from our giant garden and we had blueberries, raspberries, apples, figs, and rhubarb. Since then we moved and on 6 acres we have added pigs and dairy goats. 85 % of our food comes from our land, hunting and fishing now. God is good . No matter where you are on the journey He will guide you.
Feast or famine, you should always be prepared! Too many people these days just fly by the seat of their pants! And think there will always be enough no matter what!❤
I am not where I would love to be on my homestead journey, but I accept the journey I am on at this moment. I embrace the interest in sustainable living for my household. I am also thinking about starting a RUclips channel as my homestead becomes my definition of slow living homesteading as a full-time homemaker. I cook & bake from scratch and would love to connect with others on the same journey! 🦋
It’s a journey for sure! I don’t think we ever fully arrive. Let me know if you decide to start a channel, I’ll subscribe! Also, feel free to reach out with questions. It’s a lot at first.

YES! THIS! Your video/message is point on. You need to always remember that if you let the Holy Spirit lead you - you can do no wrong in your message. For those that do not understand or have anything negative to say - remember that this is your channel and you get to be the writer and director of your show. You are a blessing and inspirational young woman and I support you wholeheartedly. I believe it was Tuesday of this past week I was in the kitchen putzing around (I actually think I was making pickles) and I kept replaying a message in my head that I had with a girlfriend who is not a prepper and thinks we are living in fear and she commented that she does not plan on being here at the end time. I was flabbergasted to think that people believe we are prepping for the end times. What a narrow minded way of thinking. When did the word prepper become so negative? It also makes me laugh because guess what people’s….we are not the one’s living in fear. We are preparing for the famine which could be because of any number of reasons: loss of electricity, winter storm, flooding, sick loved one, loss of job…I mean the word famine could mean different things for whatever season we each are in. So on this particular day - plain as day - the story of Joseph came to me. God told him to prepare. In my words, God told him to prep, prep and then prep some more …for there was going to be a famine. If we know the story - they prepped for 7 years. I’m sure there were naysayers but for those that got the message and understood the message - they did not suffer when the famine hit. You are doing what God has laid on your heart to do, to say. If you can reach one person then you understood the message and God will bless you tremendously. I WOULD LOVE TO GET A COPY OF YOUR EBOOK AND I ALSO WOULD LOVE A PO BOX WHERE I CAN MAIL YOU SOMETHING. Hugs in Christ - what a mighty God we serve.

I buy a 10lb bag of chicken leg quarters for $5-$6, season them and bake them. Debone them and can the meat. Then put the bones, skin and drippings with onion skins and carrot ends in my big roaster and make about 12-14 quarts of chicken bone broth, then can that. I literally get about 8 pints of canned chicken & the bone broth. It's like $50 or more worth of shelf stable, nutritious food for $5-$6.
I started canning because my grocery store was selling huge bags of beets for $1 each! That's worth the time for a big batch of pickled beets. It was not hard
I'm watching this as I'm heating my homemade chili from my garden to pressure can for shelf stable, ready made meals. I love these types of videos. Thanks for sharing!

That would be my recommendation to those who say, “What about this or that?” We must take action over our own lives! God provides, but even the sparrow must go to collect that provision. God bless you! 😊
I would love the ebook please. Love your channel. I too feel and urgency from our Father to be prepared to help in many ways. That is why I make extra. 🥰
Hi, I am 77 years old and just learned to pressure can during the pandemic. Never thought of myself as a homesteader but I do have a raised bed garden, 2 large fig trees and 2 Mulberry trees.I water bath can, pressure can, dehydrate and freeze. Maybe I am a homesteader with no chickens just cats. God Bless you and your family.
You are such a good person, hard to come by these days. I am learning from your second show I have seen. I don't have land, but some large flower pots. Since I am alone, trying to make it on n I t so much $ a month. I have still been trying to stock up on can goods. I also want to get myself a propane stove. H20 is a long term problem, cause what to do when it does run out, and I know it will! I guess do the best anybody can do. Thanks again for your show😊❤🎉
We rent and can’t do much garden but we do have a potato patch and some Brussel sprouts growing. I have a CSA from a local farmer and we can pretty much everything. We got the large share and eat about 1/4-1/2 and can the rest.
@@faithandarrowhomestead we figured the side of the house that’s just a weed patch we could turn into garden space. The rest of the yard we aren’t allowed to. But we have a large potato patch going
Stocking up on the “hoof” is also a thing. For example we have rabbits. We only breed once a year and I don’t need as much rabbit meat that we have. However if we lost our ability to go to the store I would ramp up production and we would eat more rabbit. Same with keeping chickens. Having a rooster is not necessary but if you have one you can always make more chickens if you need them.
I completely agree and this is a huge hole in my own infrastructure. Outside of eating the nine hens I have, I would have no way of providing a meat source. This whole journey has been great for making me think critically about those kinds of things.
I have bought grapes for juice, mushrooms and bagged cranberries from Aldi and canned it. I have also bought beef and chicken and pork when on sale at grocery stores and canned that. So everything doesnt have to come from a farmers market or meat processor to can to put in your pantry. Only buy and can things you are going to eat, not foods everyone says you need to put in your pantry.
Had to laugh so loud when you say .15 acre is a super small plot of land, contrast that to the 5mx5m = 25m2 (or .0062 acre, or 1/25th of your "super small plot") veggie plot I have (and some other people might only have a balcony).
Can you store canning jars in places other than a basement/cellar? Whats the ideal environment to keep the food safe? Thank you for sharing your video. Great information & love your voice. Its very calming. 😊
Wow thank you for the compliment on my voice. Yes, I don’t store mine in the basement. I store mine in a spare bedroom. You want to ideally keep the food dark and cool. That will allow it to keep the longest. In a closet, under the bed, get creative if space is an issue!
These people who say.... "God provides"! It's as if it's just going to happen by osmosis. God expects you to put one foot in front of the other and make some sort of effort yourself!
I’ve said a couple times in different videos that a homesteader is a prepper but a prepper isn’t always a homesteader. I’m trying to marry the two concepts on this channel!
Great video. We should all he following the leading of the holy spirit! And if you buy what you already use, be it food/clothing/etc, you'll never have wasted anything if nothing happens. But don't we all see the writing on the wall? It's going to be very hard times until we get to the other side after 2032. It will get better but the process getting there hard.
One question how did you keep the canned food if everything is not working , like el electric powers, etc? What happen if is too hot 🥵 I side the house they can resist?
Canned food is shelf stable even if the electricity goes out. If it’s hot in your house, that isn’t ideal and the canned food may not last as long but it won’t spoil right away.
I just watched a video of yours announcing a sale on For Jars lids. Those are made in China. I watched another video of yours saying you support local farmers and encouraged your subscribers to do the same. Why doesnt that follow through to support the American worker? Ball and Superb lids are made in USA, as are the reusable and more sustainable Harvest Guard and Tattler lids. I'm disappointed.
Hmm, I think you’re comparing apples to oranges. Supporting local farms through food isn’t the same as exclusively shopping local (which is practically impossible) or at the very least all USA made. You’re implying it was hypocritical of me to share about the For Jars sale, I don’t agree. But of course you are free to feel however you’d like.

No one has all of the answers, but we live in an age where, instead of expecting one RUclipsr to answer all the questions, we can go and do more research on our own! That would be my recommendation to those who say, “What about this or that?”
We must take action over our own lives! God provides, but even the sparrow must go to collect that provision.
God bless you! 😊
I completely agree!

I would certainly consider you a homesteader!

I’m hoping to aquire some apples cheap or free I’d like to try some apple butter and apple sauce!! Fingers crossed crossed and prayers 🙏🙏
Often people who have apple trees have more than they can eat or preserve. Maybe post on Facebook asking if anyone you know has apple trees!
Thanks again for your show😊❤🎉
You’re so sweet, thank you!! Yes I am still puzzling through the water piece myself.
Great message! Can you please send the ebook? Thank you.

Well said Jaylee
Thanks for sharing 😊
We rent and can’t do much garden but we do have a potato patch and some Brussel sprouts growing. I have a CSA from a local farmer and we can pretty much everything. We got the large share and eat about 1/4-1/2 and can the rest.
Excellent advice! Great job finding a way despite your perceived limitations.
Yes, yes, yes!! Great advice!! Thank you for sharing!
Please send ebook! Thank you!

@@faithandarrowhomestead Thank you so for replying! I appreciate your knowledge & your sharing of tips to make it work! Have a wonderful weekend 💐

These people who say.... "God provides"! It's as if it's just going to happen by osmosis. God expects you to put one foot in front of the other and make some sort of effort yourself!
A home steader is a preper.
I’ve said a couple times in different videos that a homesteader is a prepper but a prepper isn’t always a homesteader. I’m trying to marry the two concepts on this channel!
To the people saying "God will provide", when did Noah build the arc? Before the flood. Before the flood.

Would love your ebook!
