This is the first time I have seen this. I live 40 miles west of Indianapolis. I did see Anthony and Eric at IU in Bloomington. It was wonderful. I love and miss Anthony so much.

oh man, I hate that feeling when you've messed up in the kitchen and you know you can't hide it from your chef.

2:14-2:26 damn, all the feels, Chef. It feels good in a strange way to know that one of the best Chefs in the world has also failed in front of a lot of people before. It is humbling, to say the least, on some tuck your tail between your legs type of shit.

i don't understand what the problem was, he was short 180 dishes?

@@Scorpio7500 Basically, and this was after measuring portions precisely to make sure that there was enough for all of the guests, but, as he says, when you're feeding a lot of people, the pace of the kitchen speeds up, and with so many hands touching all of the mise en place, it's not uncommon for the precision with portioning to go out the window, so some portions are larger than others, leading to a shortage of food when in reality there was enough for everyone if all of the portions were exactly identical. Fine dining expects nothing but perfection, but the reality is that we're all human, so mistakes WILL happen. Shit happens, as they say.

Anthony is a nice person, he's ajust a realist and not afraid to tell people what he thinks. There are videos out there where Eric explain meeting anthony and how they became friends.
