I have a question. What if the Arabic word already ends with a ي how do I attach the possessive pronoun suffix for "my"? like in كرسي , how do I say "my chair"? Thank you so much.
Why there is no Alif in the "بسم" of the Basmallah that precedes most chapters of the Qur'an whereas in Sura al-Haaqqa the verse 69:52 "فسبح باسم الربک العظیم" contains an Alif ( hamzat al-vasl ) in "باسم"?
الله يعطيك العافية!!
