Amir Çurgu Absolutely. This anime has a lot of care for details and subtlety. There’s a lot to love here, Great Story, Giant mech battles, psychological warfare, a rather unnecessary, but not entirely intrusive, amount of fan-service, and to top it off, one of the best Dubs and Subs I’ve ever experienced, Both languages are absolutely amazing.

The protagonist is the main character of the story, regardless of morality. The antagonist is the character that is the main opposing force to the antagonist. We've had so many protagonists and antagonists that are black and white heros and villains, to the point where they are mistakenly synonymous with each other. Thankfully Code Geass is one of those few stories where the protagonist and antagonist aren't plain good vs. bad. Lelouche is one of those characters that you either love to or more kind of iffy on routing for, as the methods to achieve his goals (Which some consider selfish.) are not completely ethical to point of some being able to say he is probably the bad guy. This compared to Suzaku, the antagonist who actually would seem more like a typical protagonist than the antagonist, is one of the main reasons the show is so great. There are rarely stories where you want to route for both sides, and this show is one of those few examples. You could argue that he is the antagonist in some short points where it's man vs. self, but in the long run it's our main man Lelouche leading the Black Knights, a domestic terrorist organization who all want to change for a better world, by directly opposing the evils of 11 vs. Suzaku, a soldier who works directly under and serving the nation of 11 to change it and destroy the corruption from the inside by its rules.

If it sounds like there's a lot more words in this English cover, you're absolutely right. The Japanese lyrics are INCREDIBLY condensed with lots of specific, multisyllabic words. I imagine the artist used very specific words that conveyed certain connotations instead of what is literally there.

I've never watched Code Geass and I'm sure the comments have slightly spoiled things for me, but I'm honestly tempted to watch because of the amazing opening theme and this amazing version of it.
I used to listen to Amalee's covers when I was very much younger and since English is not my first language, I didn't really understand what was being said, but now as I've grown older I came to realize that her lyrics is always so incredible. Sometimes whenever I sing along, I paused for a bit to say "wow, the lyrics is just--" and then continue singing.

SO they made lelouch of resurrection the only reason I was able to enjoy that movie was because its non-cannon any fan can easily discard it because it takes place in a different "timeline" . So I dont see what they did was wrong yea it had a lot of fan-service and retcons but ITS NOT CANNON. ;-;
