- These 3.75’ Gobblers Paddle Shads are ideal for Estuaries and Sand Flats! Fish love em hopped and dropped or burnt across the surface just under that topwater ripple.
You can get em here www.gobblers.com.au/product-p...

My favourite combo for flathead in the estuaries is
Shimano Zodias 270M and Vanford 3000 with 6-10lb braid and 10-20lb flurocarbon leader.

Great job John, Another awesome presentation mate.
Glad you enjoyed it Ian ;) cheers mate
hey john love the videos
Great action on those paddle tails mate. Would really get their attention. Pearl with a touch of purple is my go to colour in clearer water for all lures Hardbodies and surface included. If it’s available in that colour.......I will have it. Thanks for another great vid mate.
I use the grub a lot very very good
I’ll have to give em a go 🤙
They look to me like a mix between the keitech paddle tails and holt swim minnows with a bit deeper body. A great review as always mate
Thanks mate. They’re definitely the goods 👍
A great place to be, two of my favourite paddle tails.
hey mate i love fishing eny tips on how to catch travaly
where are you fishing? also great work on the video keep it up.
Recommended lures for queenies in my lake? they aren't interested in anything above 50mm really
Awesome stuff. Are you nosing into the current with the minn kota and drifting back with the current? Or pushing up through the current?
Using both but trying to do it quietly and without jumping speeds too much. That definitely puts the fish around the boat on notice.
@@mylurebox yeh I’ve got to learn to be more stealth I think
Look into soft plastics from the guys at Lennox lures... They're local to the Ballina area of NSW and make some great plastics...
Also, if you're interested, I caught a 102cm flathead here in Ballina on the 17/04/2024... Shorts of it are up on my RUclips channel
Wow what a fish Brett!! I’ll have to take a look at those lures mate. Cheers
Hey mate love the content, are you ex digger? I notice the desert cams and in one video a bushy on your son’s head !
Keep up the content coming mate, I have never used lures WELL before watching you.
Now I catch fish most the time I fish with lures now mate.
Cheers !
Gday Zac, thanks for your interest in my vids ;) My father in law is the man for my pants and Tommy’s hat. It’s the best kit I can find especially for fishing up the creeks. Over 10years and still the same pair. Gold.
Stoked to hear the videos have helped in some way 👌 cheers
Wow, ten years in one pair of cams, I’d be lucky to get a field ex out of a pair 😂
Cheers mate
Great vid mate. Don’t you have a new lure coming??
Yeah mate. I’ve got 4 new designs in the pipeline ;) stay tuned
