Where we take class it is listed under pottery classes but our class is listed as intermediate ceramics and it is wheel throwing. We do not have an Etsy account. I have experience with both ceramics and wheel thrown pottery. Ceramics generally come from a mold as far as I know. I took a pottery class in college in the 80s, thinking it would be fun and relaxing. Hah! It was so hard!!! Those bowls are beautiful 😍 and definitely took a lot of skill to create.
Your channel taught me how to make masks to the tune a several hundred! I watched others but they weren’t as good or detailed! I look forward to Wednesday and Sunday! I feel like I’m listening to my friends chatting and I love a visit to the Zoo!🥰
Ceramics are poured. Ie: there is a mold that has two sides, clamped together. The slip is poured into the mold in a small hole, which coats the mold. The slip hardens and the mold is taken off…hence greenware. Pottery is a lump of raw clay, thrown and then turned on a pottery wheel and formed by hand. Either way, they are both fired after or before glazing. Pottery is a lot more artistic, but ceramics is fun for anyone! I LOVE pottery bowls and plates…so earthy and worth my hippy leanings. ❤❤❤❤
I agree that yours was the first mask video I could find online…you helped me make a few hundred for family, friends, Co-workers and people who had to keep the food flowing!

Fishing creel. My grandparents were fly fishing all the time and my grandfather tied all his own flies. They wore hats that had their flies on them so they didn’t have to get in the tackle box too 😍 often.
I'm not sure when it was I discovered you. You just popped up probably because I follow other quilters on RUclips. Cindi, it was the one that you did about organizing your fabric. I found you guys after Covid. Brianna it was before you were pregnant with Maizey. Maizey is such a cutie pie. Love those curls. We did OK in Milton. Some damage but nothing major that can't be fixed. Some neighbors had it worse. It sounded LOUD!!! I always notice the birds singing and chirping in the mornings. They just came back this morning. It was strangely quiet to me without them. Cindi & Brianna, my neighbor told me this morning that her church is collecting donations for a family in Tampa that lost everything. There home is gone. A single mom, I believe who was living with her father but could be wrong about these details. She has two teen-agers, maybe three. I'm not sure where they are staying or more details than this but if you want I could get more info in case you would like to send quilts their way. I'm not surprised that you already have sent out 18 quilts to help those affected by Helene. God bless you both. xo
One more thing, I’ve been around since the mask videos as well. In fact that was the first time I’ve touched a sewing machine…”trying” to sew a mask. lol.

How do I fix butterflies on my quilt. What is the right suff to use to make it stay on my quilt. Please help me. Thank you. I enjoy your shows everyday. ❤
I do not make quilts larger than a lap size so I use fat quarters to back the coordinating fabric be it yardage or other pre cuts. Nine fat quarters make the perfect size.
