Great to see people (farming family) adapting and implementing change at scale.... Back to the future seems to be the way of farming... The soil and the microbes are definitely key. Great to see this family are forward thinking and learning about their own environment rather than trying to find solutions in a bottle or bag.. Brilliant inspirational video

Watching from Ireland. Watching the Irish farmers with American accents makes me sad they had to leave

Are you able to completely eliminate chemical fertilizer use with this concept?

Many farmers who implement the soil health principles have been able to eliminate synthetic inputs. There's often a decrease in yield, but this is offset by huge cost savings. Compost extract is one tool among many for building soil health, but it's extremely effective for kick-starting soil biology that has been depleted by conventional farming methods.

"hard to stop using nh3 on a clay soil" ain't that the truth! Quit 5 years ago, but it's hard when that price spread grows..
