I was almost going to invest in the movie mainline figures, but I think I'll go for the SS versions for the same money (although I might pick up the mainline Primal for display in his beastmode alongside botmode SS version... and I actually wouldn't mind getting these figures, repainted/retooled into Beast Wars versions of the G1 PREDACONS, even though they wouldn't combine into PREDAKING. As a matter of fact, I just picked up a 2nd set of the Beastmaster figures, to customize a mini-set of G1 PREDACON Battlemaster figures that can be used by my PotP PREDACONS...). Also, have you picked up the Beastmaster figures yet? (Skullcruncher, Cheetor, Optimus Primal, and Rhinox...) If not, I would recommend them. Keep up the good work!

Rhinox looks and feels like best SS ROTB Maximal so far, hands down! Him and Cheetor were the two I really wanted toys of in Studio Series and now we have them. I wished that he came with his duel mini guns but that hammer makes up for it! I’ll be glad to get him and to be my very first figure of the character ever!
picked up this fig at target yesterday. I love how sturdy and compact it is. Love that the new studio series do not snap off as easily and are not flimsy
Uh, I don't know about you, but I don't think we need a SS version of Optimus Primal. The mainline does look slightly chunky and his eyes are the wrong color. But other than that, he's a great figure! I'm not saying accept what we have, you can choose what you want. I'm just happy with the one we have right now.
Arguably not only the best looking Rhinox, but the best looking SS figure ever! Love the anatomical beast mode, and the shoulder to belly transformation is so clever.

i JUST found him like 30 min ago and i’m already playing w the figure. it’s so much better than i thought!! the paint and quality feels insane. blows cheetor out of the park imo as far as paint and quality. air razor had great paint and quality but it’s not accurate at all. but rhinox is so fun. great quality, great paint quality, beautiful size, and i personally love his transformation.
Since you zoomed in on rhinox and Cheetos transforming,you can see that they pay much respects to beast wars by making the cheetah head go into his chest like in the cartoon,it’s amazing the lengths they went in this movie to make it like a love letter to all the transformers fans out there.
This one's a must buy for me and since I think it justifies the voyager price point more than cheetor and battletrap, plus the transformation is also movie accurate as I saw a TV spot of rhinox transforming
I bet primal will be too… that’s what happens when the design uses the animal legs for robot arms and legs. Original cheetor was cooler by having the paws go to the back and having dedicated robot arms.
Too bad they didn't take advantage of the space under the chest in rhino mode, for storage of the hammer. Awesome figure tho.....the best version so far 👍
Rhinox looks awesome. Definitely looking forward to getting him when he comes out. I think a bit of panel lining on the chest scratches in bot mode should make him pop even more.
Dope figure! Definitely buying this. I hope they give us a repaint in the colors of the Kingdom version too. This figure is better than the other Voyager from the upcoming film that came out this year too.
Engineering on him is really good, especially considering they had to fit a movie design. The PVC parts worry me a bit, but not nearly as bad as Kingdom Megatron I imagine.
Ok I have a couple questions oh and btw love your vids um question one how did you get him into the pose of him holding his hammer with both hands and 2 I know this is a big one but your the only one who I know who can find good poses but can you maybe do it in like other reviews show like other poses of him with and without his hammer because I can’t find any good ones

Figure mold is nice, but the monotone color scheme doesn´t help it at all. I know it is acurate to the movie, but still it doesn´t look that appealling. It would be cool if they make a release with a more varied color palette.

Also I do agree with what you say about SS Airazor, she does look a little inaccurate in beast mode so hopefully we’ll see a reissue or at least get an upgrade kit All we need is Studio Series versions of Mirage, Wheeljack, Nightbird, Stratosphere and Scorponok to be released/revealed

Do hope we can eventually get a repaint with a more brown/copper undertone with silver weathering on top like the film (or even a show color repaint). But either way looking forward to him. This throws me back to Rhinox's Transmetal form. When you said about him lifting his tail to poop all over the Terracons I thought you were going to make that a reference to when he farted like a bomb on the Predacons. "Oh no, not that AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

I don't mind the colorization, but I'm absolutely going to be giving him some new paint. From what I could tell in my 2 viewings of the movie, he has a worn green color to him, which I'm probably gonna give him along with some gold detailing to mimic the original
The original Transmetal Rhinox figure didn't have the rhino head sitting on it's back, but that's because the rhino head split apart down the middle to become the robot mode shoulders. The horn became the robot mode weapon
Sometimes the rhino headwont go back in the chest cavity, have to have it just right folded o er. And the arms keep popping off the friction hunges where they rotate around.

I truly like this design because does remind me of Dinobots from Age of Extinction and The Last Knight, super great design. His robot mode 🤖 and his rhinoceros mode, both of his modes everything is awesome! Cannot wait to see Studio series Rise of the Beast Optimus Primal soon. I feel Studio Series Rise of the Beast Rhinox was my most favorite Transformers Studio series Rise of the Beast figure so far! Hey PrimevsPrime could you imagine seeing the other Maximals like Dinobot, Rattrap, and Tigatron in live action. Especially Rattrap considering he's a giant rat.
It does look really good. I just miss the rhino head on the back. That was a Rhinox signature look since the original Beast Wars cartoon. I mean I get why but that doesn’t change how I feel.
Is it okay to share my thoughts about this one? SS rhinox looks great and movie accurate no doubt about it. But personally I prefer the mainline rhinox more because he reminds me of the original and he can open his jaw more in beasts form compared to SS version (it looks like he has a baby mouth). despite not being movie accurate I like the mainline more because it's solid like a brick and honestly I couldn't care less if it's movie accurate or not, as long it's fun to mess around with and looks good to your collection that's fine by me.
Ha! His lower back looks like the Terrocon Symbol at 1:43. Forget the Scourge is secretly Optimus theory... He's really a Unicron empowered Rhinox (like the Armada and Energon comics) who has eventually become Tankor
I bet the movie line figures were the figures Hasbro had planned on releasing had the movie not been delayed but were forced to hold on to them until the movie actually came out. The Studio Series figures are the figures that are more movie accurate because they now had the movie designs to work with,
I have 3 of the rhinox figures, this one look great in maximal form,the rhino mode looks good, but I wish they had filled in the rear left and right side with Panels
I'm not entirely sold on this figure being an improvement on the movie line figure. I don't care for the large cavity in the beast mode chest. I also don't care for the weapon storage in beast mode, although admittedly, you are right in stating that it looks cool as a back-mounted missile launcher. I still like the mainline figure better, but I will of course be picking this guy up if I see him.

Overall, it looks like a quality figure. Bot mode is the standout. I'm just not into the animal designs but I do like the work this has into.
If they could have made the mace fold out to complete the Rhinox back and made the jaw open further back it would be perfect.
I'd have liked it hide in the chest hollow in beast mode, but I expect the 3rd party accessory guys will make a plate for that area quite soon.

The articulation is really good in the rhino mode! Definitely way more curves than mainline haha 🙌🏻

I like that Studio Series Rhinox is actually big and beefy, even compared to previous Rhinox figures.
I'm considering pairing him up with Rattrap.
I don't mind the colorization, but I'm absolutely going to be giving him some new paint. From what I could tell in my 2 viewings of the movie, he has a worn green color to him, which I'm probably gonna give him along with some gold detailing to mimic the original
The original Transmetal Rhinox figure didn't have the rhino head sitting on it's back, but that's because the rhino head split apart down the middle to become the robot mode shoulders. The horn became the robot mode weapon
Sometimes the rhino headwont go back in the chest cavity, have to have it just right folded o er. And the arms keep popping off the friction hunges where they rotate around.

Oh my gosh, Studio series Rise of the Beast Rhinox 🦏 is so fantastic, very movie accurate from teaser trailer 😃! I truly like this design because does remind me of Dinobots from Age of Extinction and The Last Knight, super great design. His robot mode 🤖 and his rhinoceros mode, both of his modes everything is awesome! Cannot wait to see Studio series Rise of the Beast Optimus Primal soon. I feel Studio Series Rise of the Beast Rhinox was my most favorite Transformers Studio series Rise of the Beast figure so far! Cannot wait to grab Studio Series Rise of the Beast Rhinox soon, super awesome video, PrimevsPrime 🤗!

Hey PrimevsPrime could you imagine seeing the other Maximals like Dinobot, Rattrap, and Tigatron in live action. Especially Rattrap considering he's a giant rat.
It does look really good. I just miss the rhino head on the back. That was a Rhinox signature look since the original Beast Wars cartoon. I mean I get why but that doesn’t change how I feel.

SS rhinox looks great and movie accurate no doubt about it. But personally I prefer the mainline rhinox more because he reminds me of the original and he can open his jaw more in beasts form compared to SS version (it looks like he has a baby mouth). despite not being movie accurate I like the mainline more because it's solid like a brick and honestly I couldn't care less if it's movie accurate or not, as long it's fun to mess around with and looks good to your collection that's fine by me.
Rhinos have a relatively small mouth. They're not hippos. The SS is more accurate to a real rhino (mouth wise). But both figures have their plusses.
Ha! His lower back looks like the Terrocon Symbol at 1:43. Forget the Scourge is secretly Optimus theory... He's really a Unicron empowered Rhinox (like the Armada and Energon comics) who has eventually become Tankor
I bet the movie line figures were the figures Hasbro had planned on releasing had the movie not been delayed but were forced to hold on to them until the movie actually came out. The Studio Series figures are the figures that are more movie accurate because they now had the movie designs to work with,

I have 3 of the rhinox figures, this one look great in maximal form,the rhino mode looks good, but I wish they had filled in the rear left and right side with Panels

Glad they changed the brown to gray to better match the movie model. Less paintwork for me to do!

I'm not entirely sold on this figure being an improvement on the movie line figure. I don't care for the large cavity in the beast mode chest. I also don't care for the weapon storage in beast mode, although admittedly, you are right in stating that it looks cool as a back-mounted missile launcher. I still like the mainline figure better, but I will of course be picking this guy up if I see him.
Airazor maybe will stay in Beast mode. Or maybe she'll died. I mean, in the trailer, when Autobots and Maximals gathered, Airazor is not there.
