I've done that on /vg/ a few years ago. It's a quick way to have sec shit all over you. It's fun though, you can set-up nests across the station so long as you connect them all with the blueprint.Toss a dozen monkey cubes in the chapel, drop some slimes and let them breed while doing the same in other rooms then hack open the door and unleash your slime army
Maybe AI didnt make it clear there was a law change. Nowdays with the chat being mostly above the people personally i dont pay enough attention to the normal chat log. Still feels bad when your "teammate" betrays you.
I think a lot of people are forgetting that a slime asimov law wouldn't work anyway since he was a changeling, it wouldn't be any different if he were a human ling with regular asimov
considering the actual slimes were calling me the ling friend and that the borgs were killing the slimes that were protected by their laws to get to me its a massive stretch to go after a slime person for being a changeling. Same reason why you cant kill humans to get to a lizard and kill a lizard for no reason with asimov ai laws. The only reason an ai with asimov laws ever goes after a ling is because a changeling is inherently at odds with the species that the ai is meant to protect.
Also a changeling can still be considered a slime being considering the definition of slime is "a moist, soft, and slippery substance, typically regarded as repulsive." being a changeling underneath does not change the features that the ling possesses. human is a specific species which is why a changeling cant be one because a changeling is a species of its own. A slime is not a specific species, its more of a characteristic which is why a changeling can fall under that criteria.
Apparently ai uploads show up on gps scanners which the hos was using to find it. Everyone else was mostly there just because someone else was greytiding sci.
The splitting slimeperson by itself is OP... I mean, you can hide new bodies anywhere in the station. Put like 3 reserve bodies in lockers around the station and boom, you're unkillable. And you can drag your old bodies to be healed, if you're really attached to your original.
@@thaumly I usually spread them by pulling them into lockers, along the main hallways. At least one in departures or a pod. It's easier to work around that, afterwards, than working around death. (if you're an antag or medbay is gone to shit)
pro-tip, dont be on help intent, you literally switch places with the guy your trying to hit, stay on disarm and just aim directly in front of you and chase the guy clicking, easy kill EDIT: oh god... watching you miss so many good hits due to a help switch is heartbreaking
I had to stay on help intent to let the slimes pass me, also its a two way street, alot of them wernt able to hit me aswell. Since im more reliant on regen its better for me if both sides have a lower damage per second since that draws the fights out longer.
Its all designated as xenobio, and i think the borgs gave me camera vision to plant slimes just by being there. The xenobio console can reach as far as its cams + the extent of the area that is named xenobio (regular blueprints) but cerulean blueprints also claims areas for the xenobio console without even needing to name it as xenobio. If the borgs actually worked with me they could have used their built in engie blueprints to name the entire station xenobio which would have let me place slimes globally.
Basically every station has different rooms and those rooms are defined by areas which are designated by map makers. The blueprints are an in game way of changeing those designations. This is mostly how rooms are split for area power controllers (apcs) to work (they dont work if they arnt in a designated room) Basically every section of the station (big or small) was individually designated by someone and there are a few ways of telling the difference between designations without having the blueprints. The main ones being asking someone to stand somewhere and looking at a suit sensors console to see where they are. Right clicking on airlocks to see how they are labeled can also give you an idea of what area is labeled as what. Vents and scrubbers are also labeled as the area they are in but they are obviously absent in maintenance.

just have enough blood aka slime jelly, the fastest way to gain more is to use plasma as internals, you can get a plasma tank from toxins and hold that in your hand and use that. youll still pass out and take oxyloss, so you need to hold it in your hand when you do this so when you do pass out you recover. Going from full hp to passing out should be enough for one split. (you need around 1120 volume to split)

Huh never thought about using the Recycle Monkey button as xenobio. 99% of the time I can use the hotkey no problem (what was it, Alt-click or alt-middle-mouse or something?) but occasionally it's finicky (due to a fatty slime sitting on top and me not being precise enough to hit the monke sprite) and I should use that top button instead.
