Joy's little beat drop "우리 다시 만나" though.. So goooood. Love this track. I was expecting a more R&B focused, Automatic esque title song but this Ballad/R&B mix is beautiful. It's awesome seeing more people being vocal about their appreciation for the Velvet side of RV now after having to scroll past an equal abundance of the complete opposite in the past. Love it.
The mv concept is the Tanabata, or the Star Festival, which is held on the evening of July 7. The festival traces its origins to a legend that the Cowherd Star (Altair) and Weaver Star (Vega), lovers separated by the Milky Way, are allowed to meet just once a year - on the seventh day of the seventh month. However if it's raining they cannot meet.
+heyitsdanni this is a tribute song for March 17 2014 ferry accident. Altair star & Vega star meet July 7 once in a year. to meets a sinking Sewol ferry accident on board students. someday see you at the Milky way galaxy. n_n thanks SM thanks Red Velvet. I'll never forget tragic accident.
One Of These Nights is hella soothing. Like, I listen to this whenever I'm restless and can't sleep or whenever I am studying for a test. c: Can be a lullaby or something to keep me focused.
Chilseok is a festival which happens on the 7th day of the 7th month. It's about two lovers who were separated by the girl's father, the heavenly king, and only allowed to meet once a year which is on the 7th day of the 7th month. They can't cross the milky way but crows and magpies formed a bridge across it to let them meet. It is also said that if it rains on that day, it's the lovers' tears.
Yes. The point is, it's not just a bland song to tell about a tale. The tell used for our tragedies. Shame on you, you are all trying to drag down that beautiful meanings between a school book. Just open your eyes and watch whats going on in the video
Just know that everything in the video and song is in reference to the korean fable of Chilseok. A short summary, it's a story of star crossed lovers that are only kept apart by the girl's father. They are only allowed to see each other on the seventh day of the seventh month (which is why the korean title is July 7th). It is said if it rains on July 7th in korea, it's the couple's tears. Pretty much everything in the video is in reference to Chilseok
please don't believe that disrespectful ferry incident theory. Chilseok is what Sm and the girl's have said everything is related/promoted as before the video came out!
+Joseph Famularo how it's disrespectful??? It's just disrespectful for international shits like you. There is no Koreans find this song and this beautiful interpretation as disrespectful. Shame on you, you trying to drag it down between such a bland meaning. Yeah, they only talk about the tale. It's not like we're using the tales for our tragedies, our mourning, it's not like we sing songs for our aches and our loss. Just open your eyes and try to understand what they're mourning for. If you don't understand the meaning that candles, that hiding under table, that key hole or boat, or the ship compartment scene in the end, that circle ship window flooding the water.. Gosh. I can't believe you are all these disrespectful for this beautiful remembering
+Rabia Y. Shame on me? I've seen and had multiple Koreans come to me and ask me not to spread that theory about ferry because it's a very serious topic, that theory trivializes what happened, that it's insensitive and I should leave it alone. No ones saying it's not a beautiful Mv with meaning. It is, but not in relation to a disaster that left many people heart broken. I don't understand? No, your the one who doesn't understand, all the water themes and shit can be explained because of Chilseok! Just fucking research it instead of coming at me with an opinion of a theory that someone reach out of their ass to come up with. You'll find that everything is still very interesting and beautifully detailed. mobile.twitter.com/urbanzakapas/status/710486203221549058
+Joseph Famularo I really want to believe that this video doesn't reference the tragic incident, but there are so many signs that almost feel too spot-on for it to not be. The song is hands down referencing Chilseok to a T, there is no question about that, but much about the fable seems overshadowed by constant themes of the ocean, being on what looks to be a boat (with the window Irene is backing away from being a porthole and the hall Wendy & Seulgi walking down resembling that of a ship), and the teaser photos littered with those paper boats. I'm sorry, but even after reading the fable, I can't understand every reference; maybe if the points were explained like the hooded dresses, the table, the teacups, the light blue room Irene was lying down in (after falling), and even why Joy was the only one not dressed in the hooded dress or why she was pulled away from the rest of the group around the table. I won't spread the theory (that I read, not the first one referencing nothing to begin with) around out of respect, but it's REALLY up for debate at this point. We know SM is a stickler for detail, so it wouldn't surprise me anymore. I apologize if this upsets you…
I'm just tired of people coming after me no matter which theory I believe. I had some Koreans (some of which were really angry) personally message me telling me not spread it around because it's disrespect and all. Okay, so I stop and try to promote the other theory out of respect because I felt guilty after being messaged about it , yet I still tick someone off. If that person approach in a different way, like how you did, I would've reacted differently and we could've talked about it. I agree with you I just saw a more detailed post about it being related to the incident, and I honestly see some of it. Some seems a bit far fetched, but I do see some of it! I'm still not going to spread it around out of respect and I don't want anymore angry people messaging me.
There's no definite meaning that SM has released, but theories have been floating around & I think this one makes the most sense putting the song lyrics into consideration. Some think it's based on a folktale called Tanabata which is basically about two lovers who were separated by the Milky Way (mentioned in the song) and they can only meet on the 7th day of the 7th month (July 7th, the Hangul title of the song _7월 7일). Orihime (the weaving princess in the story) cried and her father allowed her to meet her husband again only if she finished her weaving. Once the two lovers were able to meet, they couldn't cross the river because there was no bridge. Magpies came and told her they could build a bridge using their wings to help her cross. It's said if it rains on the Tanabata, magpies won't come and the two lovers have to wait until the 7th day of the 7th month the next year to meet. I doubt I can link something, but you can Google Red Velvet One of these nights meaning and a few links should pop up that explain things by scene. The other theory was something about the Sewol Ferry, but while it made some sense, I'm not too sure since the song lyrics match the story better.
So they're just talk about the tale, not like tales are using for our tragedies, right? Poor people. You don't even dare to remember that beautiful kids, don't you? Shame on you
the mv has such deep meaning. its about chilseok. another theory is about sewol ferry tragedy but idk. i felt so sad and happy they're doing well with the comeback
+LauKungPow when i rewatched the mv after reading that theory i had the worst goosebumps. the imagery in the video is so haunting when you think about it :-(
+LauKungPow it's not. all kpop is wrong and didn't do their research. they used a pann article which is not a reliable source. it's about chilseok and the story of two stars. where they meet on the 7th day of the 7th month(or title) and the milky way is between them (ie used in the mv) www.umanitoba.ca/outreach/cm/vol12/no12/theloveoftwosstars.html this is the story and if you have the time do please read it and the lyrics of the song because it is truly beautiful in it's own right. as well as the girls have come forward and said that this is what the song and mv is based on.
+신우재 I'm swear of this but just because some Korean fans think the mv is based on sewol ferry and some do not. doesn't make it fact. it was a fan theory that's all there was too it. pann and allkpop are not reliable sources. and all evidence points to this story as well as the Korean title 7days 7months and the lyrics and some of the shots used are based upon the story the story of two stars. the girls have even said so. until sm states the mv is based on the sewol ferry tragedy I'd like think that it's based on this actual folklore story.
+신우재 none of the pann theory" evidence" makes since. it was too far of a reach and trying to make it too deep. like a writing saying the sky was blue, for somebody else to try and come along to make this crazy theory when all the author said was the sky was blue. if people took the time to do research and actually I think it wouldn't be so much of a problem. I also don't think sm would do the same thing twice after the backlash the got from happy. regardless if you want to believe a pann theory that's fine, but I'll believe the mv is base upon the story of two stars & told it's just being told in an aesethic form, rather than a story form.
the lyrics are about wanting to reunite with a loved one (who is most likely dead) and a lot of fans say it lines with the sewol fairy tragedy with the whole water scenes and such I might agree but overall the meaning of the song is very warm but extremely sad at the same time
did anyone else notice the table cover near the beginning of the music video? It looks so much like it belongs with F(x)'s 4walls. like it could me the logo for it or something.
the mv is about the sewol ferry incident back in 2014. everyone in the video died except joy. that's why there's a scene where everone wore a white cloak and joy wore a black dress instead. and also you can point out that the place looks a lot like the inside of a ship.
MEANING OF THE MV ; credit to @nameddesire, translated by @baechuxs The theme of this song is "Shi Yue Hao (South Korea Ferry) Ship Wreck", f(x)'s Red Light is also about that ship, the release date of the song is July 7th. The incident occured on 20140416 which is march 17th on the lunar calendar. On the album cover, Yeri's face is blurred because she's the same age with the victims of the incident, in the MV, Yeri is lying down on the boat and ended up drowned. There are scenes of water in the MV, every member had an escaping action, like Joy climbing ladder, Seulgi opening a window and water going into Irene's room, and also Wendy crawling under a table. On some parts, Seulgi keep on peaking out at the keyhole, it's because she can't get out from her room and she's watching the ship sunken slowly through it. And finally, on the album cover, everyone is wearing a hood and holding a candle : they're commemorating the incident. At the end, when the words "red velvet" came out in red, it means death. Anyway, SM said they delayed the MV due to quality changes, but it's because they changed the video aspect ratio to 2.33:1 (represents the past, memories and old movies), 16:9 ratio to 1:1 (is the recent years), widening to 2.35:1 refers to present time.
people keep saying it's about sewol tragedy but that speculation/explanation was an interpretation of some fans when in fact red velvet themselves said the song was inspired by chilseok [KR] tanabata [JP] qixi [CN] folkstory. hence the korean title [July 7th or 7/7] here's a detailed explanation of the scenes in the MV and chilseok's story onehallyu.com/topic/300483-my-theory-about-red-velvet-one-of-these-nights-mv/ yea like everyone i wish you could do a reaction to their live stage and hopefully 'Cool Hot Sweet Love' it was really great. but thanks for reacting to their mv been waiting for this :D
+cheshire nikki Yeah, the SONG. The Sewol Tragedy theory is for the VIDEO, since the MV's are always made AFTER the song. Even SM admitted almost a year later that f(x)'s "Red Light" was about the ridicule towards the Sewol Ferry Tragedy.
A lot of people are saying it's about the sewol ferry tragedy, but I don't think it's true and it seems a little insensitive to me. I read that it's more likely about a Korean festival called Chilseok which is held on the 7th month and 7th day (which fits the song since its Korean title is 7th month 7th day). The folk tale Chilseok originated from is about two lovers who were only allowed by the woman's father to meet once a year. They had to cross a the Milky Way (often represented by a river) to see each other and were carried by birds. You can google it to learn more, but all of the images in the mv and the lyrics suit that story better than it being about the sewol tragedy. Idk maybe the mv is about sewol with all the images of portholes and boats and yeri (who is the age of the students who died) was in the boat but the song is about Chilseok. Unless SM explicitly says it's about sewol, I feel like this makes sense.
+Clare Abbott this is a tribute song for March 17 2014 ferry accident. Altair star & Vega star meet July 7 once in a year. to meets a sinking Sewol ferry accident on board students. someday see you at the Milky way galaxy. n_n thanks SM thanks Red Velvet. I'll never forget tragic accident.

So many of these connections are backwards. The date of *chilseok* (festival based on a folk tale) shown on the RV video is the 7th day of the 7th month of the *lunar* calendar(translation of 7월 7일 shows July 7th, but automatic translations can't pick up on context, 월 & 일 just mean month and day), which is exactly what the song lyrics match, and what the video matches. It has nothing to do with 7th July or when "red light" was released. The ship sank on 16th April in the "common"(gregorian) calendar, the song was released on 17th March using the same calendar. It makes no sense to arbitrarily change one to the lunar calendar. 16th April being "17th March" on the lunar calendar is incorrect anyway. 20140416 on the gregorian calendar becomes the *17th day of the 3rd month OF THE LUNAR CALENDAR* , there is no "March 17th" on the lunar calendar - they have their own month names. The lunar calendar also changes(in relation to gregorian) every year, as it's aligned to the moons cycles, not the sun. The lunar 17th day of the 3rd month in 2016 is not an anniversary of when sewol sank. Every Korean commemoration of the event shows as being on the 16th April every year, not by the lunar calendar date. Korea uses the gregorian calendar for almost everything(they seemingly adopted it in the 19th century), except holidays like Chilseok.. Even if the lunar date was used to commemorate it, the methods used in the original comment are backwards. The 17th day of the 3rd month in the lunar calendar in 2016 is seemingly more than a week off when the mv was released. People just invent baseless connections, like "red velvet" being in red supposedly meaning death...when their name is *red* velvet, and naturally red is used regularly. Red typically signifies either *life* or blood(shed). The only time red ever seems to be used for mourning/commemoration is specifically to mark bloodshed/war. It would be very morbid & disrespectful to use red text for that meaning in the video. *Yellow* ribbons were used to commemorate Sewol, and is one of the common mourning colours. Likewise the supposed connections with aspect ratios is getting simply ridiculous: A 2014 sinking is thoroughly modern, and long past the end of film aspect ratios. 2.33:1 was *never* a common aspect ratio in the past, or *ever* most likely. ie: they simply messed up slightly, and fixed it (assuming that was ever the case, so many "facts" in kpop aren't). Yes, they're wearing raincoats, and the video is full of water, because chilseok marks the start of the wet season. Likewise candles/stars/etc are part of the chilseok festival. Meanwhile no effort goes into actually checking anything, because that's not popular, which is all that matters in the kpop fandom. The *video* MIGHT be referencing sewol, but that's only speculation, and ignores that all of it relates to chilseok. It also ignores that all the members were laughing & teasing each other while watching the finished video, extraordinarily unlikely if they thought it was referencing sewol. Any abstract video/images/concepts can easily be made to fit anything with vaguely similar themes.
I don't know the details, but I heard an interpretation of the video that claims that it's a commemoration of the Sewol Ferry Incident. Watching the video again, I do see how a lot of the imagery can point to that (i.e that scene where the water burst through the window and Irene fell). If you look it up, you'll probably find detailed interpretations.
+Shinnel Ferary This is also a reach although very detailed. Just find the one about the festival in korea that falls on July 7. It makes sooooo much more sense.
I heard the read the same thing and agree. I'm pretty sure Yeri died cause some of the victims were her age and all. It's tragic but it is such a beautiful video.
+Gadwin so it makes so much sense when they only talk about tale? Lol. What a shame. It's not that on surface, you are just want to make it bland, when in reality, this song and music video has so many meanings for koreans. International shits just try to drag down the song
Rabia Y. Do you have any common sense? You want to insist on using that tragedy to 'make it more special'? The song is about Chilseok, it falls on 7/7, the tale involves a river and a boat (Yeri) rain (Seulgi/Wendy) and the milky way (table scene) The song itself MENTIONED the milky way, talking about waiting and ONE OF THESE NIGHTS refers to 7/7 which is the only day the lovers can meet in a year.
Gadwin Oh~ That's really cool. Rabia Y. Also, you shouldn't put down a person for wanting to believe in one specific interpretation. That's the whole idea behind an artwork. The artist may have had an idea behind their work, but at the end of the day, each person is open to interpreting it how they want (as long as they aren't hurting anyone with their interpretation). This statement goes out to everyone.
The Velvet mini album is pretty good, but needed more R&B/Soul I mean after they did Automatic last year from Ice Cream Cake EP it left me wanting so much more Soul music from these girls...so a tad bit disappointed SM went more the Ballad route with their Velvet mini, but perhaps their next mini or even full album will have a lot more R&B/Soul because Red Velvet is arguably at their best in that genre. 😪😪 PS: So ironic your outro was Time Slip, considering that song suits the Velvet more than it does the Red. 😆
It is the answer to EXO love me right:)..... Haha the the songs says.... Why did i permit you to wander around the milkyway to search for me... That is basicaly it
I personally liked it more. I liked Automatic more at first listen but OOTN has grown on me a lot and its currently my favorite song by Red Velvet (although other faves are Dumb Dumb, Time Slip, ICC, and Something Kinda Crazy). It's different from their previous Velvet releases but the video really struck a chord. It's their best Velvet side MV, I think.
Omg ikr yeri had like 2 lines! I feel like SM is waiting for her voice to mature a bit because she's still so young and in the future give her more. Also Irene had lie, no lines either...
exo love me right means... I will explore the milky way or universe because you are my milky way and my universe... But baby just love me right... Well red velvet answered hahah
The meaning of the mv is actually really sad and making me goosebumb. One theory shows that this mv really is a tribute for the Sewol Ferry victims. Mostly about all student that had been trap on that ferry, tried to survive and avoiding the water. You can read it in here : www.allkpop.com/article/2016/03/theory-that-red-velvets-one-of-these-nights-is-a-tribute-to-the-sewol-incident-goes-viral I'm amazed by their beauty and how eclectic this music video at first. But after I know the story, I cried instantly.

+Hueira Sparta This infromation is wrong, the real meaning behind the MV is tanabata/chilseok . About two lovers who can only see each other once a year because the girl's stric father. They live accross a river and to meet they build a bridge to meet each other. That's a brief summary. I also thought it was about the ferry accident, but its not
+Miya they are pathetically thinking music is not for human, it's just for business. It's like there is no folk music created from love and all other tragedies. And they refuse to mourn with that beautiful and young kids anymore i guess. Sewol anniversary is near. People already forgot how they're tripped in their rooms by crew. How they lost their lives and went the another skies. It's just so so beautiful song and tale to say "we will meet again" how it's suppossed to be disrespectful? Did this kids listen any mourn, tragedia, or folk music? Do they know music is there to remember. Music is there for love, happiness and sadness. It such a shame they refuse all the meanings. Only international ignorants think this os disrespectful. Korean already respect the song and all of those referances. That chrixantems, that boat, candles that little princesses.
@@TheRenflower This was baselessly aggressive & entirely based on populism. There is literally nobody involved ever saying it had anything to do with it, they've all said the exact reverse. Literally everything also directly matches chilseok. The story of chilseok *is* human and *is* a folk tale dealing directly with love, sadness, longing etc. It is nothing to do with "refusing" to mourn, frankly fans continue to exploit the hell out of sewol(just like they do "idols") because they *want* "their" popular idea to "win" regardless of the reality. People who have any concern for what happens around the world are still more than well aware of what happened on Sewol, meanwhile numerous kpop fans that *want* to follow this theory & ignore the overtly presented story probably never had much idea about Sewol, and have likewise since forgotten about it.
@@DoubleMonoLR honey, it’s been 8 years since i commented that. I didn’t even understand what i was trying to say so kudos to you for attempting to educate past me. It was an embarrassing usage of English Language. Pheww. Sorry for that
This is late and not sure if you had already found out, but there's a theory that the song and music video is like a tribute to the Sewol Ferry Incident.
the lyrics for this song are so sad I cried and after reading them the mv makes sense. I'm glad they didn't do a sexy concept like everyone anticipated bcs they're still rookies and yeri is young. they did make up for it tho with the other song cool hot sweet love
Joy's little beat drop "우리 다시 만나" though.. So goooood.

Shame on you
.....umm Wasn't it about the ferry incident?
+마리아 NOPE. its all just a fan theory. That one above is confirmed from the girls themselves & the director.
+Rabia Y. just shut up you moronic bitch.
the song was based on that fairytale but the mv is about the sewol incident
I've come to really love it! The whole mini album, too.
I've grown to love ootn but damn it if sm played me thinking I was gonna get more r&b than ballad!! Thank god cold hot sweet love saves my life
the more listen to this song the more I love it
the mv has such deep meaning. its about chilseok. another theory is about sewol ferry tragedy but idk. i felt so sad and happy they're doing well with the comeback
yasss I was waiting for ur reaction!
I read somewhere that the MV was based on the Sewol ferry tragedy. Not an official source, but a fan theory.
+LauKungPow when i rewatched the mv after reading that theory i had the worst goosebumps. the imagery in the video is so haunting when you think about it :-(
kb11 The whole theory's on allkpop. It gets even worse when you see all the references :/
+LauKungPow
it's not. all kpop is wrong and didn't do their research. they used a pann article which is not a reliable source. it's about chilseok and the story of two stars. where they meet on the 7th day of the 7th month(or title) and the milky way is between them (ie used in the mv)
www.umanitoba.ca/outreach/cm/vol12/no12/theloveoftwosstars.html
this is the story and if you have the time do please read it and the lyrics of the song because it is truly beautiful in it's own right. as well as the girls have come forward and said that this is what the song and mv is based on.
I also don't think sm would do the same thing twice after the backlash the got from happy. regardless if you want to believe a pann theory that's fine, but I'll believe the mv is base upon the story of two stars & told it's just being told in an aesethic form, rather than a story form.
for some reason in my spirit, i feel like you guys should be on BGC LOL
LOOOOOL
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS
please react to one of these nights and cool hot sweet love LIVE !! the choreo was so amazing and their vocals slayed as usual !!!
you guys should definitely watch the live version if you have the time to!!
you guys should watch the live version c: when you have time
the lyrics are about wanting to reunite with a loved one (who is most likely dead) and a lot of fans say it lines with the sewol fairy tragedy with the whole water scenes and such I might agree but overall the meaning of the song is very warm but extremely sad at the same time
Be Natural,Automatic,Candy,Take it Slow,Wish Tree are Velvet songs
NEVER CLICKED ON ANYTHING SO QUICKLY
Yeri did have a few lines but there are a lot of duets, She's sings with Seulgi, Irene and Joy sing together.
Are you guys gonna do Hyomin's new video?
Shinee have their Ring Ding Dong car and Red Velvet have their Automatic round table.
did anyone else notice the table cover near the beginning of the music video? It looks so much like it belongs with F(x)'s 4walls. like it could me the logo for it or something.
I can't even with these two 😂😂😂
the mv is about the sewol ferry incident back in 2014. everyone in the video died except joy. that's why there's a scene where everone wore a white cloak and joy wore a black dress instead. and also you can point out that the place looks a lot like the inside of a ship.
Hyomin sketch? Fiestar mirror?
YASSSSSS
+john good waiting on it
yes yeri had like two lines - bitter yeri stan
*YAAS! Too bad Yeri barely had any lines :(* Could you react to the live version?
Please .....the dance is so good in live and their singing is amazing
Please react to the live version. The one that they did on Music Bank! And also the live version of Cool Hot Sweet Love!
Anyway, SM said they delayed the MV due to quality changes, but it's because they changed the video aspect ratio to 2.33:1 (represents the past, memories and old movies), 16:9 ratio to 1:1 (is the recent years), widening to 2.35:1 refers to present time.
are you guys gonna do a mini album review?
When Courtney said its all coming together :O what are you thinking there? Lol
i think be natural is red velvets best song
You guys SHOULD react to cool hot sweet love's live perf coz it's just ✨✨✨✨ velvety
people keep saying it's about sewol tragedy but that
speculation/explanation was an interpretation of some fans when in fact
red velvet themselves said the song was inspired by chilseok [KR]
tanabata [JP] qixi [CN] folkstory. hence the korean title [July 7th or
7/7]
here's a detailed explanation of the scenes in the MV and chilseok's
story
onehallyu.com/topic/300483-my-theory-about-red-velvet-one-of-these-nights-mv/
yea like everyone i wish you could do a reaction to their live stage and hopefully 'Cool Hot Sweet Love' it was really great. but thanks for reacting to their mv been waiting for this :D
Altair star & Vega star meet July 7 once in a year.
to meets a sinking Sewol ferry accident on board students.
someday see you at the Milky way galaxy. n_n
thanks SM thanks Red Velvet. I'll never forget tragic accident.
HYOMIN - SKETCH
PLEASEEEEE
yeri have the same lined that irene

Likewise the supposed connections with aspect ratios is getting simply ridiculous:
A 2014 sinking is thoroughly modern, and long past the end of film aspect ratios.
Any abstract video/images/concepts can easily be made to fit anything with vaguely similar themes.
also react to Cool Hot Sweet Love live IT'S LIT
Live version was amazing like everyone is saying :)
React to Cool hot sweet love live please ~
Please react to the live version! It's soooo good
PLEASE do Got7's new music video Fly, I almost died and it was only 18 seconds in lol
this video made me think of the outer limits intro
i dont know if i asked this yet but have you watched jimin ft xiumin call me bae or excited on your own
You guys should definitely react to dean- Bonnie and Clyde
Could you react to Cold Hot Sweet Love by Red Velvet, the live version?
Yeri and Irene sung the background vocals but Irene got more screen time and a few more background lines
Can you guys react to Got7 Fly, Jay Park's The Truth Is, and Dean's Bonnie and Clyde?? Love you reactions so much!
some people believe this mv is to memorize the Sewol Ferry Incidence with all the water and candles and scenes of trying to escape
And Yeri in the boat sinking, and also, there signings for this album is also held on a ship
live one pls
Please react to Hyomin- "SKETCH" M/V
The Velvet mini album is pretty good, but needed more R&B/Soul I mean after they did Automatic last year from Ice Cream Cake EP it left me wanting so much more Soul music from these girls...so a tad bit disappointed SM went more the Ballad route with their Velvet mini, but perhaps their next mini or even full album will have a lot more R&B/Soul because Red Velvet is arguably at their best in that genre. 😪😪
PS: So ironic your outro was Time Slip, considering that song suits the Velvet more than it does the Red. 😆
Can you guys react to Hyomin - 'Sketch'?
It is the answer to EXO love me right:)..... Haha the the songs says.... Why did i permit you to wander around the milkyway to search for me... That is basicaly it
BTS Japanese version! Great video
i had the same reaction "oh, this isnt as good as automatic"
I personally liked it more. I liked Automatic more at first listen but OOTN has grown on me a lot and its currently my favorite song by Red Velvet (although other faves are Dumb Dumb, Time Slip, ICC, and Something Kinda Crazy). It's different from their previous Velvet releases but the video really struck a chord. It's their best Velvet side MV, I think.
Omg ikr yeri had like 2 lines! I feel like SM is waiting for her voice to mature a bit because she's still so young and in the future give her more. Also Irene had lie, no lines either...
*like
Can you talk about the theories about the meaning of this MV pleaseeee
exo love me right means... I will explore the milky way or universe because you are my milky way and my universe... But baby just love me right... Well red velvet answered hahah
YALL NEED TO GO WATCH DEAN
PLEASE REACT TO "Hyomin - Sketch" AND "BlockB - A Few Years Later"!!!!! PLEAASEEE
LITTLE RED WENDY HOOD AHAHAHHAAH
The meaning of the mv is actually really sad and making me goosebumb. One theory shows that this mv really is a tribute for the Sewol Ferry victims. Mostly about all student that had been trap on that ferry, tried to survive and avoiding the water.
You can read it in here : www.allkpop.com/article/2016/03/theory-that-red-velvets-one-of-these-nights-is-a-tribute-to-the-sewol-incident-goes-viral
I'm amazed by their beauty and how eclectic this music video at first. But after I know the story, I cried instantly.
No its not. That's just fanmade theory.
Andreanata Noivan the mv is about sewool ferry but the song is about folktale
So early omg it still says 1 view
I sometimes think about making kpop reaction videos... but then I realize I can't show emotions
I wanted something like Beyoncé "dance for u" but this was ok
+Foreigner Sammy YASSSSS AND SLAY ME WITH THAT SLOW IMMA-FUK THE-SHIT-OUTTA-YOU CHOREO. Too bad :/

iKON - Dumb & Dumber
this is a tribute song for March 17 2014 ferry accident. Altair star & Vega star meet July 7 once in a year.
to meets a sinking Sewol ferry accident on board students.
someday see you at the Milky way galaxy. n_n
thanks SM thanks Red Velvet. I'll never forget tragic accident.
+Hueira Sparta This infromation is wrong, the real meaning behind the MV is tanabata/chilseok . About two lovers who can only see each other once a year because the girl's stric father. They live accross a river and to meet they build a bridge to meet each other. That's a brief summary.
I also thought it was about the ferry accident, but its not
+Justdance272727 no you are wrong it's not that simple. Why you are trying to drag out this beautiful song and video? What is this intention?
Pheww. Sorry for that
Hyomin sketch plzzzzzz
Can you please react to GOT7 “Fly” M/V please ?
please react to jjcc comeback 'today' i love your reactions thank you
React to BTS Japanese version great video
BTS - Run Japanese Ver*
This is late and not sure if you had already found out, but there's a theory that the song and music video is like a tribute to the Sewol Ferry Incident.
the lyrics for this song are so sad I cried and after reading them the mv makes sense. I'm glad they didn't do a sexy concept like everyone anticipated bcs they're still rookies and yeri is young. they did make up for it tho with the other song cool hot sweet love
