It took David awhile to convince Bill Gaither to include this song in the program. Needless to say after this performance and the reaction of the audience Bill started including it in the program. Love your reaction. I never get tired of hearing him sing this song. David called it just a beautiful piece of music.
I had the honor of "feeling" David perform this. I was sitting in the second row and felt every word. It was amazing! I really recommend attending one of his concerts.
I watched him perform this live 2 months ago in Tulsa. It was amazing. Plz check out the song Live like a King he sings at his piano in his barn. It’s incredible!

David explodes in both of these songs that is absolutely mind blowing... the people on stage with him can't even contain themselves from it.

Listen to David for 20+ years now, probably close to 25, but David is so great that he got me to like an opera song,lol. Nothing stacks up to him as far as singers hands down. I like other artists and groups but when I start listening to him again, the rest don't hold up. That is no knock on other really good artists, he is just that much better in my opinion.

I also say he's the best ever. At least in my lifetime. What I will say, I think Pavarotti does this particular song better.
