    Hi Wayne. on the ailerons, as you will have noticed, the pins that go inside the actuators tend to come out easily. I solved it like this. I cut the pins, drilled correspondingly with a suitable 1.5mm bit and fixed the wings with some AP screws that I had in addition. I hope I can help you bye

    I used pliers to carefully bend the top part of the aileron support to tighten it. What you did was a bit risky.

    Hi Wayne, Check the black linkages on the underside. They have to mirror each other and only work one way round. After I sorted this, everything was fine. They worked the same (albeit limited movement both sides). Easy to get aileron support brackets wrong too as part numbers were correct but in different positions than the ones in their photos. Sure it is an easy fix to get them to work mate!

    I had the exact same problem with same actuator as well. I heated the top part of the actuator (which is plastic) and bent it inward very slightly, not too much or it would be too tight to move remotely but enough for the aileron to sit in flush and secure.

    There seems to be quite a bit on this model that we don't know yet what it does. I don't know what the center console is supposed to do. It doesn't pull backwards to let Batman lie down in the nose like in the film and the ailerons are controlled by the remote control according to how they were tested. And what is that lazy susan for that was done in stage 29-30?!

    Hi Wayne, been watching this coming together and it’s some build. I note you have trouble saying ailerons, so why not just call them flaps 😂😂👌👌👌

      @@bryanlatimer-davies1222 I know that but was it really worth picking me up on something so insignificant, or have you nothing better to do? I just like to watch the building of a wonderful model being put together by an expert model builder. And no time for trolls……

    The ailerons on both sides work fine on mine. Ensure the screws on the sliding mechanisms aren’t too tight.

    Why would a ground vehicle need ailerons anyway. It doesn't fly.

    It is very weird that one side pf the ailerons work (sort of) and the other side does not. I means logically they should have just mirrored the parts so I guess it has something to do with tolerances on the production line.

    • @bedfordshiremodeller4491
      @bedfordshiremodeller4491 3 месяца назад

      Then those tolerances will hav to be fixed over at their manufacturing centre

    Hiya Wayne.. I strongly suspect that you'll have to remove that non-functioning ail-er-on in the future when Hachette figure out what's wrong and send out an errata pack with replacement parts.
