The slow truck seem to me that it’s an auto gearbox, driver had pulled out full throttle, then had to do emergency stop:- the software aint good & I’ve stalled an auto truck that way several times, almost always at roundabouts when some numpty races round as I’m pulling out. In those trucks you put your foot to the floor & there’s a delay while the computer decides whether you’re in the right gear, at best .5seconds from foot down to gas, often 1s. Hence the emergency stop, but the engine’s at full throttle, the clutch won’t disengage & you stall. 4 secs min to restart.
Gosh ! That Asda must be the quietest one I’ve seen if the car park is anything to go by ! My local Asda’s car park is almost full when I’ve passed, even during lock-down, with trolley queues 5 lines deep, hence why I’ve not been in for about 2 or 3 weeks !
3:28 I don't think the trucker was mean. When theres an emergency vehicle behind me and I notice that the vehicles around me dont react to them I do that to. If your house was burning I belive you would appreciate drivers who are as alert as this trucker. In a private matter. I might visit the uk after the whole corona thing. Are roundabout rules really that hard or are a lot of people not paying attention? Because I'm seeing a lot of dashcam clips in roundabouts. 8:38 Well you got some proper slics now XD
No people here are just thick as pig shit. Give way to the right and if there are multiple lanes, choose the right one based on arrows and stay in it. It's terrifying to think that someone has said 'yes, this person is a perfectly safe driver' when in fact they are quite the opposite and can't comprehend something as simple as a roundabout
The lorry driver was perfect. See loads of clips from 'first world' America and people couldn't give 2 shits about the emergency services, so it's good to see him being urgent in trying to move out of the way, respect that a lot. With regards to roundabouts, people getting them wrong are pretty rare. I drive 21k miles a year but it's rare for me to see stuff like in this video. But you still get people are pretty clueless, coming to a near stop when not needing to, not understanding when to go (if there is a lane to your right and left both with cars waiting and the car on the left goes, you can then go straight after him, for example) etc
Wonder if it occurred to the trucker that not only is the size of his vehicle making it impossible to see the fire engine but sounding his air horns make it impossible to hear it? Especially if the windows are closed in a modern well insulated car.
I'm not certain as to the individual song titles, but the whole station is essentially recorded as one long track. ruclips.net/video/Mn7ku4_zOWg/видео.html
Glad you're still alive! Sorry I'd given up on y'all returning...have re-subscribed and will just remain hopeful for future videos. Stay safe & healthy, or as safe/healthy as possible!
We're not out as often as we once were, small human isn't a fan of the car lol, we have no intention of packing in yet but it may be a while between videos
Just for fun, honestly. Extra's isn't the plural of extra any more than squirrel's is the plural of squirrel. It wouldn't be complete without some grammar police's would it?
Yeah not too bad given the world at the moment, staying safe, which unfortunately means no footage, but family first, this is only a hobby lol, hope you're doing OK.
Good afternoon. I was wondering if I could share your channels content on my channel? More than happy to provide a link to your channel and credit you each time I feature your videos. Thank you
This has helped ne a as a fairly new driver to be more aware of the potential idiotic habist on the roads and byways. The highway code test should be a standard punishment for these offenders.
Bloody lorry drivers a prat, honking your horn with sirens blaring is simply going to confuse people, not everyone can deal with that much sensory input and react.
That M1 J28 is a bit of a cow tbh. That aside, Derbyshire County Highways road layout designers seem to be the country's worst. Evidence, Chesterfield's roundabouts and light timings - dire.
Has always seemed pretty straightforward to me tbh. The real cow in that area is the roundabout next to McDonald's. If you're coming from the McArthur side and coming off at the exit for Hilcote (so it's literally just straight on), there's always some special tosspot who comes off in the right-hand lane
"A car will now be given a major fault if the MOT tester can see smoke coming from the exhaust, or find proof that a cars diesel particulate filter has been changed." if my car was smoking that much it would be at a garage, not on the road. They're causing a hazard.
Derbyshire born , Derbyshire bread, strong in't th'arm , thick in th'ead

Thanks for the explanation Paul.
It also appears to be an M.A.N., I've heard the automatic-transmissions on those leave rather a lot to be desired?

A lot of people either don't pay attention, or they think their acceleration is quicker than it actually is.

The song at 4:55 is pure nostalgia, it's from the radio station Rise FM on GTA 3. I don't suppose you could tell me the name?

1min of opening credits... please make that shorter
Usually a bit shorter, but given the length of time between this and the last video thought it might warrant a bit of explanation. Duly noted though.
I'm subscribing because I heard applejack singing at 3:01 respect
Haha yeah, my partners doing lol
Feedback: Love videos if longer
Christ that intro music is louder than a Concorde take off.
So basically we need to avoid Ripley and Alfreton then 😂
Essentially yes lol, we haven't been very far recently, hopefully when everything calms down we'll be back to going further afield
Great video and lovely ending, stay safe. Big thumbs up!
I’ve subscribed

Someone’s gotta do it Mark. If it hadn’t been you, I would have taken on the weary burden.
4:54 Rise FM :D
STAYIN UP FOREVER, WITH RIIIISE!
Hello fellow fan!
That first clip, what a cheek!!
4:00 that poor woman… she did pant know what was happening, that lorry driver needs to calm down
We've missed you. Hope you are keeping well.

If you want to that's fine, our videos are public.
@@BadDriversDerbyshire thank you very much! 😀
Mostly unintentional stuff its those that are deliberate that make me angry
What dashcam setup do you have? I never seem to have much luck getting one I like, but your videos are ace! (And I've not seen myself on one yet...)
We have a Nextbase 412gw in the front and a Nextbase 212 in the back

The big roundabout where toys r us used to be in particular. We avoid it unless absolutely necessary.
Have to agree about the DCC and Chesterfield's roundabouts including the lane markings on some as well as light timings.

One video, two or more videos. No apostrophe in a simple plural. You're correct; everyone does make mistakes.
I live in Cheltenham most cyclists ingore red lights
We find it's the same countrywide, unfortunately it always seems to be the car driver who gets the blame even when the cyclist has blown the lights.
;0)
Sorry but having a smokey car is not bad driving.
"A car will now be given a major fault if the MOT tester can see smoke coming from the exhaust, or find proof that a cars diesel particulate filter has been changed." if my car was smoking that much it would be at a garage, not on the road. They're causing a hazard.
WOW that was really exciing (NOT)
Off you pop then, nobody forced you to watch.
Don't need the on screen commentary.....it's condecending....so no subscribe, and thumb down
Buh bye then
