I'm 40, on food stamps, and sure fucked up my life, it's 2:40am I live in medford oregon and just for some reason looked up," getting dropped off at med school," saw this, watched it, and wish I would have payed attention in school, hung out with different people, and made a better career choice, I have kids my youngest is 2 and prays he is successful like you one day, GOD BLESS YOU AND I HOPE YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL ONGOING LIFE...
You are healthy, alive, and still young. You have plenty of time to make your life amazing. There are many roads to success but only you can get yourself there. So don't give up!
Thank you. I'm 41 today, going to movies with my girl and kids. Thank you again for the response I actually read it a few times and will make sure to read it periodically, I hope you accomplish all your goals, God bless
You have definitely contributed in motivating myself to learn basic radiology knowledge (Pursuing on becoming an interventional radiologist) before hand, I am 13 at the moment and am taking advantage of my current age, thank you.
I just applied to medical school this summer and am waiting to hear back! I can't believe this might be me in a few years. Thanks for sharing this Jenny, it makes me so excited for my future!
Girl When you started talking about the PCs and the convex side etc I was like the hell? I have no idea what you're talking about since I'm only in undergrad. But hopefully I'll learn about everything you said in need school lol
Branden Anderson in most countries around the world, med school is at an undergraduate level unlike the graduate model in USA and Canada. The Medical Degree is an undergraduate degree. We don't need to do any Bachelors Degree to get into med school as med school itself is a Bachelor's Degree. To get into med school we have to give entrance tests which are really really hard. Most European, African and Asian countries follow the undergraduate model of Medical education. We are then awarded a medical Degree at the end of our undergraduate med school program. For example in some countries med students are awarded a MBBS (Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery) Degree. After we complete med school which is around 6 years, we start our Residency. Hope it helped!
I honestly live for your channel 💗💗 even though I'm going into my first year of high school lol I'm starting early!! I got into the pre med academy at my school so I'm excited!! your channel is incredibly amazing!! keep up the good work and good luck with your last year in med school!! ☺☺
I love it right when I see the fish haha. Commenting on the video itself, I think it's very simple and informative. I hope you can make more videos like this, you can review what you have learned in a day, and share it with everyone! I will definitely do that when I'm in med school. Haha. Great job!!!
starting clinicals soon ! save me tho there are def no attire/scrub/professional wear videos for med students (and makeup) --- i knw ur busy but id love tips cuz fashion/makeup is my stress reliever
You could be a plastic surgeon because you have a perfect face. No lines, not dried out, well hydrated, no cracks, firm, oiled. It's every woman's dream.
laine L We all know she has the brains for it. The vanity of our culture as viewed through Hollywood though demands that the plastic surgeons themselves be immaculate physically. Jenny has a perfect face with no cracks or creases even when she smiles. That's a tall bill to fill. I think she'd be a success as a plastic surgeon catering to Hollywood stars. They'd look at her face and say "I want it like that."
+Sine Analysis where did you pull this from? Most plastic surgeons that I've come in contact with are just like everyone else-- wrinkled and stressed. Reputation is the biggest thing for me/my mom/grandma and basically everyone I've talked to about this. We don't give a shit what they look like, since any surgery done on their face was done by another surgeon.
Great Video! Pretty informative too. I think its really neat to be able to see the different components of each rotation and what purpose each may serve/how they could be used for other procedures. I may be biased though as I want to go to med school as well, but now I'm going to watch your ER rotation video since Emergency Medicine sounds neat AF.
In Europe we dont have pre-med, after high school we directly get into medschool which is 6 years. So thats next year for me and im hoping for the best
Have PNWU students matched into integrated plastics? Or generally Gen Surg -> Plastics fellowship? Is plastics something you're interested in? I'm applying to PNWU this upcoming summer! :)
There are quite a few people who matched into general surgery and I think one went on to be a neuro surgeon. I am not sure if anyone went into plastics.
Hi Jenny, I thoroughly enjoy your videos:) just one question, I have keloids myself on my ears and I was wondering is it possible to get them completely removed with just steroid injections or surgery? I heard some people get surgery done and they grow back? Thank you!
I would first need to know the mechanism of injury. - If a plastic surgeon has surgically removed your keloids in the past and yet they came back - then I would inject them with steroids. - If you have never tried surgically removing them before, then a plastic surgeon might choose to go the surgery route in order to allow your skin a chance to heal correctly.
I usually do a video on every rotation that I complete. I like to share what I've learned and maybe just a give a little insight to what medical school is like. Lots of people just had questions about dermatology so I thought I'd make a second video answering all those questions.
Orthopedic surgery is an elective during fourth year. I have scrubbed in on a couple of ortho cases during my surgery rotation but have not done an actual rotation. I am still debating if I want to do a rotation in either ortho or vascular.
hi, I live in Canada and im in 11th grade. and advice on what I should be doing now that would help me get into med school or help me in med school? p.s I love your vids and your really pretty
I'm not exactly sure how the system works in Canada, if it's similar or not, but KEEP YOUR GRADES UP. The #1 most important thing when you are going into college is maintaining a 4.0, not a 3.5, not a 3.75, a 4.0. Study for 100's on exams so when you mess up or see something weird, you still get a 93 or 95. When you get into sophomore year (so you can have a good grasp on just school for one year, and get good at it), start looking into your EC's (extra curricular's) like volunteering, shadowing, clinical experience, research, etc. Then, you have to take the MCAT 1 year before you plan on heading too med school (so spring of your junior year) unless you want to wait and take a gap year. This is because it takes a while for applications to med school to be processed, ~1 year. Knowledge comes from me being a Senior pre-med student, heading off to med school next year.
+Alexander Dorman thanks for the advice! what im thinking is to enter pharmacy then apply for med school instead of taking pre med for about four years.. so idk if its a good idea but I hope it is. and thank you for replying
Hello I'm a medical student from Spain, I love your videos, they are so motivational!!! PS: I hope that you don't drive while holding the camera, I find it so dangerous!!
Sari Brodie if you're only 10, please don't stress about about the future just yet. Enjoy your youth because once it's gone, it's gone! Take this from a 20 year old who was way too stressed and angsty in high school.

I honestly live for your channel 💗💗 even though I'm going into my first year of high school lol I'm starting early!! I got into the pre med academy at my school so I'm excited!! your channel is incredibly amazing!! keep up the good work and good luck with your last year in med school!! ☺☺
Good for you starting early! You can never be over dressed or over educated.
I love it right when I see the fish haha. Commenting on the video itself, I think it's very simple and informative. I'm glad you enjoy the videos :)
These videos are great! Thanks for taking us with you. :)
Glad you enjoyed!
Omg I would love that!!! Plastics excite me
You could be a plastic surgeon because you have a perfect face. No lines, not dried out, well hydrated, no cracks, firm, oiled. It's every woman's dream.
Lol Thank you but looks fade! Its all about your reputation/track record if you want to become a successful plastic surgeon.
Agreed!
+laine L thank you so much 🤓

i love watching your videos! I am currently taking a gap year. Hopefully I get in next cycle! Hope you find a good match for residency!
ER is fun cause you get a little bit of everything. And if you like shift work (three 12 hour shift a week) you'll love being an ER doc.
Sounds like my kind of thing, but I guess I'll find out in the next few years.
This is amazing! I love these educational videos. Thank you so much!
Leah Dora thanks for watching!
So Awesome! Congratulations on all your accomplishments!! :)
Thank you :)
She could not wait to become a plastic surgeon ❤👨⚕️
In Europe we dont have pre-med, after high school we directly get into medschool which is 6 years. So thats next year for me and im hoping for the best
+BilalTVable Best of luck! 🤓
Jenny Le Thank you and right back at ya😊
you're so down to earth and you have an insanely beautiful face! how old were you when you started and what year are you in?
24 when I started med school 👧🏻
i want to be a facial plastic surgeon so bad. I would never get plastic surgery but I find it so interesting.
When you do your rotations in med school do you have a choice to chose what you want to do or do they let you experience every field?
I’m just now coming across the vid but how old are u now and how old will you be when u finish all of school
Love your videos!!
Thank you ! :)

+Jenny Le Thanks so much Jenny! I got them by failing to do anything when my ears got infected from the piercings haha
you might want to go see a plastic surgeon and get their opinion. Chances are they will be about to help you get rid of it or at least minimize it.
Am going to 10th grade but I don't know how to study any tips
I freaked out when she touched the sterile gloves . omg how many time have I treated them like holy grail lol ?
what majors should I look for when I apply to colleges? 💓
Hello girl:) I'm a undergraduate, but I'm planning go to med school. I want to be a Plastic Surgeon but we'll see. Have a great day.
Thank you! and good luck on your medical journey
Hello..you said the PC is concave cutting for tissue but you suggest using a PS (convex side cutting)? Can you explain that? :)
Rebekah When the cutting edge is on the concave side, based on directionality, you can easily cut through the tissue you are trying to suture
Wow, I guess I was assuming the cutting would be easier when the blade is convexly setting in a tool---thats good to know. I start Med 1 next year!
Congratulations !
I am loving your videos! Are you thinking to go into dermatology? Or just enjoying the rotation?
I usually do a video on every rotation that I complete. I like to share what I've learned and maybe just a give a little insight to what medical school is like. Lots of people just had questions about dermatology so I thought I'd make a second video answering all those questions.
Awesome vid
Thanks 🤓
Please do a vlog during OBGYN rotation!!! :)
I already had my OBGYN rotation 😞 so it won't be till residency till I do OB again.
When's the best time to take the MCAT? (middle of jr year, ending, beginning of sr year, etc?) Thanks!!!
You should take the MCAT so you receive your score before applying to medical school. I believe I took mine some time in September.
Have you done an orthopaedic surgeon rotation yet or do they not have that in med school?
Orthopedic surgery is an elective during fourth year. I have scrubbed in on a couple of ortho cases during my surgery rotation but have not done an actual rotation. I am still debating if I want to do a rotation in either ortho or vascular.

Lol no it's not.
What classes did you take in high school? And what did you do after high school? I want to be a surgeon too 😂.
watch my previous video - How I got into Med School. It should answer your questions.
I am a senior in high school and I am majoring in pre-med in college I think I want to specialise in Peds, do you have any tips?
expose yourself to as much medicine as possible.
Are you considering a career in Plastics?
what kind of foundation do you use?
Amanda Gaffagan Makeup Forever Ultra HD
Love ur vidoes!!! Sending kisses!!!
Thank you so much!! :)
Is it hard to be in med school?can I be a doctor if i'm bad at math?lol
Yes medical school is hard but if you put in the work, you will be ok. My dad use to tell me I was bad at math also LOL
Is there a lot of math in medicine?sorry for asking alot😭😅
+Justin Bautista not really. But I think I was still required to take calculus in college.
You are fine
Hello I'm a medical student from Spain, I love your videos, they are so motivational!!! PS: I hope that you don't drive while holding the camera, I find it so dangerous!!

You are young and successful. Your videos are very inspiring. Keep up the good work!
Can you do a medschool giveaway 😂 like your old stethoscopes maybe netters cards haha.
I would but I only have one stethoscope and I never bought netters cards.
“Bougie ass shit if I do say so myself”
In the US, fourth year of med school is your intern year? Or is it after you graduate?
It is the last year before you graduate
my dad is a plastic surgeon lol
R
As of now, you're a 4th year, correct? Which medical specialty do you plan on going into?
Annie Remegaio FM!

Is she a nurse or a doctor?
I am in school to become a doctor.
