In the backdrop of sci-fi chrome, 'black-eye' (shame), 'blue-smile (sarcastic smile), hyper-tactile (sensitive to touch), 'starry-eyes' (idealistic) relate to sensitivities that are too often perceived as weaklings or damaged goods in the realistic world. It is not the empath who is broken, it is society that has become emotionally disabled. Abdullah lines spell out that to feel intensely is not a symptom of weakness, rather being alive and compassionate. Atif's part radiates hope, motivation and underlining that there is no shame in expressing your authentic feelings.

The way both of you took a minute to actually digest what just happened was something I could relate to, and I'm sure a lot of others around the world, too. This season has actually made us feel like that after almost every song.. That's the 'Xulfi' effect :)
I remember once when the famous Hollywood producer Marshmallow said that I'm interested in working with Atif Aslam. I got so excited to see the collab and curious to know how would his voice sound on electric music. I don't know why that collaboration didn't happen but when i heard this song i was like no matter how hard marshmallow could try but he'd never reach this level. Kudos to the coke studio team loved it.
It's a crime for Abdullah, Atif and Xulfi to be this good.
Whenever maanu picks up the pen, pain/vulnerabilities are glorified in the most subtle manner 🥺💯

I thought I was one of the very few who were hit hard by Atif's "saans ly khudi sy na darr tu", but I was expecting same from Jojo and I am glad I wasn't wrong.

So true. I wanted to say that too. Literally everyone else stops randomly during the ongoing songs to add thoughts (which is usually disruptive) but these guys know how it’s really done well, because it takes a certain effort to remember and arrange a queue of all the thoughts at the end of the songs, which most folks are lazy enough to attempt.

@@qudsiatariq7663 oh for sure, intelligence in general plus emotional intelligence is a given, for sure. Plus being reasonably well-read (which also feeds being well-articulated). All tools for the trick. Several channels fail at that as the reactors/reviewers are not that well-rounded individuals, which makes these guys superior imo

Abdullah Siddiqui is nominated by Forbes under 30, Idk how you've manage to do so much at such young age but it's crazy...YOU are an inspiration to many young minds to produce quality content and surely when any work's done with passion, determination and consistency it never goes unrewarded...

One of the great things about season 14 is that the "music of this season grows on you". This is the sign of a great song. You like it more as you listen to it more...It's the same quality as of Rohail Hyatt songs
Go is a gem of CS 14. Abdullah is gifted and Atif is an exceptional as always. Your insight is so genuine as usual
In one of your previous videos you talked about how the universe sometimes brings you things right when you need them the most. This song was exactly that for me. Found it in a super vulnerable moment and cried my heart out, felt a lot better after it tho lol :D
I guess this song kind of helped me accept my emotions and also sort of reassured that I'll be fine, I'll make it.

Had been waiting for ages for you guys to finally react to this song and am so happy to see the song has created a similar impact on you guys. This can easily be classified as another masterpiece of Coke Studio. Have listened to this song at least a 100 times since it has released. The best thing about this particular song is that it has a wider audience as I have seen a lot of westerners also reacting to it and they're all being surprised by the vocals of Abdullah Siddiqui. They never expected someone from this region to have such an English accent and vocal quality to give competition to the top western artists.
Loved your ‘Nahin hun kamzor’ interpretation here. It’s such a breath of fresh air at a time when new music usually revolves around clichéd beaten down topics
