HEADS UP: The last normal hit launcher f1+2 combo(80dmg) doesn't actually use b3f after DEN1(otherwise SEN 1+2 won't connect). Corrected inputs for the combo shown at 0:26 : f1+2 df3d DEN2 df1 DASH ff42 DEN1 SEN 1+2 f3 DEN1 b3f SEN1
For some reason I can't get the 2, 1 to hit after the df1 in this combo; f,1+2, df3d, 2...its the first combo listed in the Heat Engager section. Any idea why?
have you found any spike down combos where it guarantees D 1+2? since the SE DF1 is gone, it's really hard to figure out. I've seen some combos where people did it with SE 3+4 but it's really hard to replicate it consistently.
yeah it is possible with SEN 3+4 but it's so inconsistent unfortunately. I hit one in ranked after an off axis ch I believe but I don't know how consistent that is. If I find something I will post it for sure.

Been doing some research and learned some basic tekken terminologies (what numbers and acronyms mean etc.) Saw your videoes and they are what i have been looking for and wanna learn but idk what you are pressing. I cant tell just off of his movements. Any chance you can include the inputs? Or at least just display the command history when doing the combos? Or is this not a beginner friendly guide and i should come back when i can tell your inputs just by looking at him?

In this game when you do the tornado your opponent is not too far away like in Tekken 7 with the screw system. Therefore you don’t really need it anymore in most of the combos you can just f3 for DEN and your combo will still work. You are just making your life harder for no reason. But yeah it’s still possible to do it in this game, just no need for it.
Thoughts on the FF2->F->3+4 ender after screw? Didn’t see it in the video was wondering if you knew about it or if you preferred other enders. Personally quite like the oki you get off of 3+4 out of silent entry.
so at like 3:42, after the heat engager I cannot for the life of me do the run up →2→1 without accidentally inputting the running 2. Its such a tight gap to close the distance and use the correct move there. EDIT: Just did it three times in a row after venting here about it, just had to complain to get it down lol.

For beginners it is kinda hard to do the optimal combos so I have some easy ones too. If you are an experienced player you see which combos are the most optimal one :)

Mr Kaizoku, I hate DEN 2. I never want to use this move. How much damage will I lose doing non-DEN 2 combos
You will lose easily 7-10 damage depending on if you count the DEN2 ender
you do lose some damage but bro what is wrong with DEN2? you were a noctis main it can't be too hard to hit DEN2 😂
But DE2,is very good Safe CH mix it with 4 or 3+4

I’d just go for df1 1 b3… very slightly less dmg a lot more consistent

Timing.
This is how I do it: When he is very close to finishing his spin I press 2 twice. Just try to get the right timing and you will be fine :)

You have to dash in after the df1 to do the 2,1. Can be a bit tricky.

It is only good for oki and I have different okis which I go for that's why I didn't put it in. Might to a video on okis after a combo too

If you wanna be safe then use it. If you feel comfortable with the other ones do them instead.

Happened to me too lmao you just have to focus at that part and do the correct input. Don't worry, with enough practice you got this ✍️🏼
