I am looking for a house to add to our rental portfolio. The problem now is how to find funding for this. Thanks for your video very informative for me
Newcomers go where jobs are and their communities exist to help with transition. Yes, some will move to other parts of the country (BC & Alberta) but that's driven by job opportunities. Toronto is turning into New York where city living is very expensive and more people are pushed out due to affordability: longer commutes. Hope this helps.
All available land within the city is spoken for. However there is nothing stopping you from buying a house and gutting the interior. You're not building anything from scratch

Hi John, feel free to connect if you want to discuss down payment options for an investment property
There has to be a point where renters even with jobs can’t keep up with rent inflation. This will slow down Toronto’s home appreciation!

Adding supply of housing (density of more than single family) is difficult and cumbersome.
Don’t you think young people and immigrants will relocate to cheaper destinations- Calgary?
