It is better to close down this drdo white elephant or make it a publicly traded company. It has swallowed taxpayer money and is very inefficient. What has DRDO got to show for 23,000 crores of taxpayer money every year? This money would have been better spent elsewhere.

Naval system growth is due to Indian Navy and their great focus and impetus. Else DRDO is same everywhere.

DRDO is nothing front of DARPA and Israel innovation. Only missiles ballistic categories little bit. Look at Russian defence sector rise from the death bed with little budget.
We don't have core technology in any field of industrial capacity. Either theft borrow or acquisition of companies u gain technology like Tata Mahindra did with overseas global business acquisition of critical platform. Our gem of technical people working with usa Europe asian countries top level reserched startup and engineering technologist . Need complete revamped of technical education development and HR manager. Currently learn more from overseas like USA Japanese Korean Israel corporate. China is fifty years ahead in future technology from India.
