I swear , like this is very stupid , once a time I went to a village in my country as part of my work , i saw gorgeous rural girls , natural beauty no plastic. But good for them they live in peace and happiness , money not everything .

I feel the same, i used to have a baby face a round face and chubby cheeks.That disappeared growing older and voila.. i suddenly had a jawline and cheekbones.For some strange reason my eyebrows were very low as well myabe due to fat in my face.After the baby fat disappeared my eyebrows are higher and more arched and my nose looks way slimmer.I bet if people would see my pictures they would think i've had something done too, which isn't the case ..

When you look up her photos from very young age 13-14, she was very thin and had exactly the same proportions. She had definitely some procedures done.
Don't underestimate the skills of makeup artists , they can litteraly make your nose 2 times smaller and change the shape of your face.These pictures were taking with makeup by a professional photographer in great light. I've met celebrities in person and some look completely different than they look in pictures and on tv.
to say that those woman are the most “beautiful” is just wrong. yeah they’re beautiful, but because they use the golden ratio, it just means they’re faces are most symmetrical. beauty is depended on the eye of the beholder

But your face does actually change. You loose baby fat and you kind of grow into your nose. I’m not saying she hasn’t had anything done but from my own experience I used to have very shapeless face with pretty big nose but when I hit puberty, I’ve lost fat on my face and now I have visible cheekbones and my nose also appears smaller especially with contouring
It really bothers me that these celebrities either fail to disclose or deny the fact they've had plastic surgery. No-one cares, we just want honesty so that we don't have unrealistic expectations of what we perceive as "beautiful." Plastic surgery wouldn't be such a taboo if these celebrities were open about it

There likely was a filter. Nearly all music videos are retouched in post-production. Same with big budget movies. Performers are retouched to perfection. Lighting plays a big part as well.

Yeah, I thought big, beautiful, "bambi" eyes were highly regarded. They were not that long ago. Now these celebrities want the sides pulled up and it makes tighter eye surfaces. I like the wide eyed, feminine look! And, yes, both are "feminine- looking" but wider eyes are more youthful and soft, in my opinion.
How? If you remove the Eyeliner, lashes, eyeshadow, and all the other parts of her face (forehead, brows, nose, jaw, lips, etc. Her whole face. Even her ears), theres the same amount of soul to me. I think because she has makeup (lashes and eyeliner) and/or possible surgery or cosmetic cat eye injections that's giving her a more sassy look and makes her eyes look smaller that makes you think she has "less soul".
Everybody trying to look “exotic” and so many girls tryna look “anime”, yet the girls with natural almond or Asian eyes would get made fun of through childhood and adulthood not too long ago and some times STILL to this day just because they naturally look that way/ are mixed . I was picked on for having a “square” jawline and having “slanted” eyes while being “brown” because I was naturally tan even though it didn’t make any sense. People were like.. so confused trying to figure out my “race”... so in reply, many times I would just say “I’m a mutt”.
I agree with this. I'm black however I am mixed with other ethnicities and take on the almond eye shape with the slant and dents in the side of my face. Yet growing up it was funny and I looked "chinese" 🤔🤔. But now since its popular I either get made fun of still or I'll have random girls wonder how I got the best eyes. 🤷♀️🤷♀️. My eyebrow does that and I have never had plastic surgery I’m only sixteen. My doctor says that there is a muscle in my eye that is pulling my eyebrow tighter than the other one. He says I need surgery to not do that.

I feel comforted knowing the amount of surgeries these women have. Yes they’re beautiful, but they shouldn’t deny the work they’ve had done. I don’t see a reason... especially when it’s so obvious.
Just admit it. Don't make young women strive for something that is unattainable without going under the knife. It is their decision, but they have so much influence over young women and do not seem to care. Even worse, when they are selling beauty or anti aging products, but had face lifts and botox. I think that borders on evil and reckless for fame and money.
We are not entitled to their lives just because they have influence. Ariana is a singer all we are entitled to from her is music. If isn’t her job to make us feel good about ourselves. Stop holding celebrities to a pedestal, it’s their choice if they want to share their lives with us.

Completely agree. At the very least say: yeah I've had something done in the past but im not going to talk about it. You dont have to go into detail. Just don't lie. It seems like every celeb gets off on making regular people feel less than by insisting theyre that perfect and gorgeous without the help of surgery. The reality is that very few faces are "perfect" . Theres always small flaws or asymmetry. There are some women born absolutely gorgeous and flawless, but they usually become models. Not actresses. I just dont think God often endows naturally gorgeous women both beauty and amazing acting talent combined that often. (And I'm not talking just pretty, I mean stunningly perfect.)

I think denial about the surgeries has the biggest negative impact on herself. Denial over a long period of time could lead to the internalization of the idea that she naturally looks like this. This shows that she is insecure, which makes me wander if plastic surgery was the right thing for her, as well as if she is the right role model for girls today.
and just because you get surgery doesn’t mean you’re a bad role model. she’s an amazing person. kylie jenner is also a good role model but she changed more drastically and it’s obvious she got surgery but still denies it. they’re both still nice people

Honestly it makes me so mad when celebrities keep lying about plastic surgery. They are fully aware how many young female fans they have that look up to them and want to be like them. But they still keep pushing the lies about being all natural, even if it hurts impressionable fans by pushing unrealistic standards. I don't have a problem with plastic surgery (I would probably get a procedure or two myself if i could afford it), but it irks me seeing celebrities parade around their $100,000 face as if they were born with it.
Unfortunately, most people have a very poor understanding of surgical/cosmetic procedures, facial anatomy and age related facial changes. Take Kim Taehyung (2020s Most Handsome Man) He hasn’t had any surgical procedures done before which makes people understand why he’s on the list but if you put someone like Kim K or Kylie people would say “its only because they have money”. That’s why it’s considered unfair when people that obviously had plastic surgery are put on these lists.

Natural beauty will always be more highly prized than "beauty bought." This is why celebrities don't want to admit they've had surgery---it spoils the illusion that they're "special." (Also why fans don't want to believe it, even when it's obvious.) Their industry sells fantasy and they're under pressure to maintain the fantasy. I don't think they have an obligation to admit to plastic surgery---most of us have eyes, we can see it anyway---but they shouldn't outright lie, either (should just say nothing).

You are absolutely beautiful without any of these procedures. Don't downplay your beauty because you can't afford them. There are things every person doesn't like about themselves, even Ariana feels that kind of stuff. The goal in life is to be at peace with yourself and love yourself for every "flaw" you think you have. Trust me when I say that you are your own worst enemy. When people look at you, they just see a normal person and they aren't judging you for the things you hate about yourself. Big lips doesn't fit everyone's face. If she really want lips filler, then less is better. She has a really cute small face shape, so lips that big makes her seem older and sometimes puffy. But if she feels better and more confident, then more power to her. (Not hating, for those stans who take everything personal).

From watching plastic surgery videos, I now realize that as your body changes, anything not natural will need to match it as well. I'm really inspired to leave my body alone and just focus on being healthy.

Celebrities getting lots of procedures done to be beautiful, then denying it is really bad for people looking up to them. It makes people think "why dont I look like that? Why are all these things wrong with me?" And we feel bad about ourselves because we werent born a natural beauty like they claim to be. However, I do understand their reasons for denying it. your channel is conflicting for me…i started watching your channel with a few facial insecurities that i just accepted as who i was, no changing them. for some reason i thought the changes i would have liked were impossible, and they disappeared from my mind because i’m also too poor to actualize cosmetic changes haha. i accepted that i am an average-looking girl with a few extra pretty features like my eyes, but otherwise i stopped caring about how i looked. after watching your channel, it put a bug in my mind of “hey…one day you can fix your weird chin/neck if you save up for it! then it’ll be possible to be pretty!” as if i wasn’t content with myself before. i love that your motto is “beauty is attainable” but sometimes knowing that we can practically become more pretty erases the self acceptance/self love we worked for while believing we couldn’t

I feel the same, i used to have a baby face a round face and chubby cheeks.That disappeared growing older and voila.. i suddenly had a jawline and cheekbones.For some strange reason my eyebrows were very low as well myabe due to fat in my face.After the baby fat disappeared my eyebrows are higher and more arched and my nose looks way slimmer.I bet if people would see my pictures they would think i've had something done too, which isn't the case ..

When you look up her photos from very young age 13-14, she was very thin and had exactly the same proportions. She had definitely some procedures done.
Don't underestimate the skills of makeup artists , they can litteraly make your nose 2 times smaller and change the shape of your face.These pictures were taking with makeup by a professional photographer in great light.
I've met celebrities in person and some look completely different than they look in pictures and on tv.

It really bothers me that these celebrities either fail to disclose or deny the fact they've had plastic surgery. No-one cares, we just want honesty so that we don't have unrealistic expectations of what we perceive as "beautiful." Plastic surgery wouldn't be such a taboo if these celebrities were open about it

There likely was a filter. Nearly all music videos are retouched in post-production. Same with big budget movies. Performers are retouched to perfection. Lighting plays a big part as well.

How? If you remove the Eyeliner, lashes, eyeshadow, and all the other parts of her face (forehead, brows, nose, jaw, lips, etc. Her whole face. Even her ears), theres the same amount of soul to me. Everybody trying to look “exotic” and so many girls tryna look “anime”, yet the girls with natural almond or Asian eyes would get made fun of through childhood and adulthood not too long ago and some times STILL to this day just because they naturally look that way/ are mixed . I was picked on for having a “square” jawline and having “slanted” eyes while being “brown” because I was naturally tan even though it didn’t make any sense. People were like.. so confused trying to figure out my “race”... so in reply, many times I would just say “I’m a mutt”.

My eyebrow does that and I have never had plastic surgery I’m only sixteen. My doctor says that there is a muscle in my eye that is pulling my eyebrow tighter than the other one. He says I need surgery to not do that.

Just admit it. Don't make young women strive for something that is unattainable without going under the knife. It is their decision, but they have so much influence over young women and do not seem to care. Even worse, when they are selling beauty or anti aging products, but had face lifts and botox. Completely agree. At the very least say: yeah I've had something done in the past but im not going to talk about it. You dont have to go into detail. Just don't lie. It seems like every celeb gets off on making regular people feel less than by insisting theyre that perfect and gorgeous without the help of surgery. The reality is that very few faces are "perfect" . Theres always small flaws or asymmetry. There are some women born absolutely gorgeous and flawless, but they usually become models. Not actresses. I just dont think God often endows naturally gorgeous women both beauty and amazing acting talent combined that often. (And I'm not talking just pretty, I mean stunningly perfect.)

I think denial about the surgeries has the biggest negative impact on herself. Denial over a long period of time could lead to the internalization of the idea that she naturally looks like this. This shows that she is insecure, which makes me wander if plastic surgery was the right thing for her, as well as if she is the right role model for girls today.

Honestly it makes me so mad when celebrities keep lying about plastic surgery. They are fully aware how many young female fans they have that look up to them and want to be like them. But they still keep pushing the lies about being all natural, even if it hurts impressionable fans by pushing unrealistic standards.
I don't have a problem with plastic surgery (I would probably get a procedure or two myself if i could afford it), but it irks me seeing celebrities parade around their $100,000 face as if they were born with it.
Unfortunately, most people have a very poor understanding of surgical/cosmetic procedures, facial anatomy and age related facial changes. She clearly had quite a lot done over a few years, her facial proportions have changed drastically (And I've been following her since 2011). Thank you for this video Lorry :)

@@fairywonder3419 these lists are made with the impression that these females are natural and are born with their beauty but in actuality it’s not true, there is nothing wrong with being put on the list when you have plastic surgery but it definitely would feel like cheating seeing as you weren’t born with certain features you bought. Take Kim Taehyung (2020s Most Handsome Man) He hasn’t had any surgical procedures done before which makes people understand why he’s on the list but if you put someone like Kim K or Kylie people would say “its only because they have money”.
That’s why it’s considered unfair when people that obviously had plastic surgery are put on these lists.

Natural beauty will always be more highly prized than "beauty bought." This is why celebrities don't want to admit they've had surgery---it spoils the illusion that they're "special." (Also why fans don't want to believe it, even when it's obvious.) Their industry sells fantasy and they're under pressure to maintain the fantasy. I don't think they have an obligation to admit to plastic surgery---most of us have eyes, we can see it anyway---but they shouldn't outright lie, either (should just say nothing).

Celebrities getting lots of procedures done to be beautiful, then denying it is really bad for people looking up to them. It makes people think "why dont I look like that? Why are all these things wrong with me?" And we feel bad about ourselves because we werent born a natural beauty like they claim to be.
However, I do understand their reasons for denying it. You get picked on for your insecurities, then you fix them and get picked on for being "fake". There is still stigma around plastic surgery and they are just hiding from ridicule.
