If you replace the bushings in the servo saver to bearings, it makes a big difference in the steering since the bearings move freely and bushings rub causing lag and steering issues in the long run. Bearing will also extend the life of your servo. Yes yo can put the biggest battery that your machine calls for but until I get my metal gear put in all my vehicles and the right diff fluid to help, I run my 3ss on 2s mostly, 6ss on 4s and the Xmax 8s on 6s, one because of summer now and to keep the heat down (and it's still fun) and until everything is upgraded to what it should be with diff and shock oil and servo saver bearings. Still will run them on full power once in awhile in a field and some small jumps. I dont bash cause I like to keep them in one peice and not having them sit while parts come in. Especially new models because everything from vehicles on back order and if need warranty work can wait 4 months as everything is on back order since 4 of Arrmas 3s line have pretty much all the same parts so your vehicle sits unused after the second day of having it and finally 4 months later being able to run it with no problems. But it's all part of the hobby I guess. Lol Sorry so long.
I put such tires from the factory or from wherever I can find for mine 1/8 Scale the olny and one thunder tiger MTA4 s28 nitro 2 speeds baby 80-90klm they are expensive 70 euro but they are the best they don't break easily if they are new? You can do everything ln the truck sund at the beast at clime mountain
Got the mx57 about 50 grams per tire lighter but the tread on the hatchet x seems a bit better for urban environment. Hatchets are $90 for a set the mx57 were $180 for a set..bout to return the mx57. Can 2 sets for the price of 1 set of mx57.
These tires look great and performed great but I had to reglue them after every bash session and then two finally blew apart simultaneously. Done with duratrax and glue and moved on to the badlands.
I recently got some which was duratrax lockups st 3.8 and man... they are bigger then expected. It made my dhk Maximus look tiny with those wheels and the Maximus is 8th scale. Had to return it because it was way too big. Thought it would be like badlands 3.8 but it was bigger and heavier. I will definitely get those tires when I do get an Xmax on the channel. 👍
What is the weight difference of these vs the stock tires? Always looking to save weight. They do look great and if they weight difference is in their favor I’ll snatch them right up based off of your review.
They definitely would be. The chevron pattern is like a shorter paddle tire and the belted tires have more contact area or surface patch contact than the stock balooners
Do like those wheels and tires. I'm looking for a good pair as the Xmaxx as the ones on it dont seem to have a good glue job. On 6s was seeing a bulge on the side of a tire and noticed maybe a dot of adhesive in that 1/4 of the tire.
Nice set of shoes for your X-MAXX. I have the Proline Badlands MX43 tires for my X-MAXX. They are heavy. I was looking at the Louise X-Rocket street tire for the X-MAXX, what do you about them? I also wanted to get the Proline Brute Bash Armor Body for the X-MAXX for bashing only. Would like to save my original body for show.
They look really good on there I have Badlands on mine but they are quite heavy these would definitely be nice to have as another set by the way did you do the paint on your body it looks really good
I already had the upgraded servo in the truck when I installed the Hatchets. But I think they would be okay. Servo upgrade is a good thing to spend money on though.

Rotating mass is huge for the performance of any vehicle.
Awesome video amazing tires did really well out there in the snow ❄️ servo performs really well too great job thumbs up 👍👊🤟
Tires look great as well as the whole truck. Love it.
I just bought these tires and love the look of them on my XRT. I do want to change the gearing though to a 54T spur and 13T or 15T spur.

Are they better for the xmaxx compared to stock ? I dont bash mine too hard at all . Mostly grassy field runs and on the street .

That looks really good.👍
I have a few sets of them.. awesome tires!
Looks good man 👍 I honestly really like stock tires. People say they rip easy but if you vent them they hold up great!
First sent I had ripped and I was told to vent. Second set ripped too. We all have different driving styles.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs Yep very true!
Great Lakes RC I still have my gasser/nitro finger as you can tell from the short bit of driving I do in this video. I’m very snappy with my throttle.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs 🤣🤣
I had bad luck with the stock tires i vented them as everyone said but i blew them out second day driving the truck

Questions? Do you jump hi and hard on your shocks ? I definitely have the same set up shocks about max 5/800kv. What is thank on my set up? 😊
Hello...I have the x cyclone Louise wheels...are they belted... eBay say it is, but not on the package...They look just like your hatchant wheels
Beautiful truck man💀
Nice! I wonder if they will work better at the beach than my stock Xmaxx tires

@@jaybringus6818 Thanks!
Tires looking great, 👌 what body is this ?
Oh and beautiful body. On the truck that is . Lmbo

The duratrax are my favorite tires hands down. Even of they were the same price as proline. I would still choose the duratrax.
What weigh diff fluid do u run
Did you paint it. If so GREAT JOB!
It's a pitdawg hydro dipped body.
I want to learn how to hydrodip myself. Well not me but the shells.🤣
Hi do you have to change anything to fit the hatchet x tires on to the axale
Hey Jason, I’m in Ontario myself and was wondering where you purchase your RC parts from?
Hey,
Great Hobbies and Eliminator RC mostly.
Have try out ezrun max4 and ezrun 70125 560kv motor on the xmaxx

Are we supposed to glue these.? I put on my beefed up kraton 8s and didn't glue and blew foam out of one of the tires1😔
You should drop the link for the tires
Are the still holding up?
Hey can u tell me where to buy this awesome tires please. Great video
Nice.. I got a set on the way
Would you say this is a harder tire compound or more of a soft one?
The Hatchet’s are definitely on the harder side.
How is the weight of these vs the badlands mx43s
Are those tires belted?
Yessir.
NIIICE!
Where did you purchase tires from⁉️
Small shop here in Ontario.
Do you think the Duratrax Hatchet tires would be fine with the stock servo?
I already had the upgraded servo in the truck when I installed the Hatchets. But I think they would be okay. Servo upgrade is a good thing to spend money on though.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs I truly appreciate it!
What shocks are those?
lmao stock xmaxx shocks
@@masonclark6013 I didn't realize OEM XMAXX shocks came with remote reservoirs.
@@chuckAWD Those are Proline Ultra Reservoir Shock Caps (SKU: 6293-00) $112 for 2, $224 for a full 4 set.
Weigh this in grams next time! :)
