I thought that paralell means if you create line from the top of the knee to the bending point in the hip? Video shows line from the top of Lee's knee to the bottom of his glutes or starting point of his hams, even though it's hard to ee because he is wearing loose shorts. This would mean, just do it as you feel the muscle and not hurt your knees?

Lee's never slipped a disc, i know because he isn't using a belt or plates under his heels. I use two belts i was once asked why, i asked that person if he'd ever slipped disk squatting he replied no, i then laughed and said thats why you are not even using A belt... i left the gym like a crab.
It's hilarious to me how there are so many gym bros on here calling out Lee Priest on squat depth. Bwahahaha! Mr. Priest knows what to do to train his body. No one's opinion matters in the slightest.

IMO most bodybuilders have crappy vastus lateralis, their vastus medialis overshadow them too much, they should concentrate on the lateralis and all you have to do is simply squat with your feet pointing outwards and keep knees inward during the movement, yet I have never seen anyone squat that style in the gym😳
This kind of squat is better for quad growth than powerlifter squat depths. Phil Heath squats similar depth. You all are idiots telling Lee Priest he is doing them wrong.😆
Comparing weightlifting squats to this... Man. Lee is. Great bodybuilder, but those squats are 3% of a real squat. Most bodybuilders also can't do a full squat

You don't need that much weight on the bar to load the quads.
