On January 15, 2012, Gold dust (or as they call it, a glory cloud) appeared during worship time at Bethel Church.

My mom and her best friend were there that night. Her friend was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was given 6-9 months to live. When they arrived to Redding, she was very weak and was taking 20 pain killers a day. They went to the Friday night service and saturday morning healing rooms and by saturday night she was down to taking 2 pills. This night she was standing directly underneath the Glory cloud. God is truly amazing. God Bless you all.
I was there. You couldn't fake what was happening if you tried. The best part was the genuine, passionate response of worship to what God was doing in the room (of course, we were worshiping with all of our hearts before anything happened because He is worthy!). It was an amazing experience with an even more amazing God!
I remember this day.. when the glory cloud came everyone erupted in praise. A group of us went and stood under the cloud. We were in awe. All of a sudden it was swirling around our legs and through all of us followed by amazing heavenly fragrances, kind of like a sweet cinnamon, smoke and wine!... amazing time to be at Bethel...but this is just a glimpse of what will be happening in every place who welcomes heaven and hungers for MORE of the supernatural...
Even now in 2023, this wrecks me. This is without a doubt one of the most powerful moments in worship I’ve ever experienced. All glory to our Father in Heaven. 🥹🙌🏻
I love that that Stephanie does not "have to" sing.... she can worship in other was to. One night I was worshiping on a youth night, and God told me to stop playing keyboard and just bow down. it's good to have freedom to just do it!
Wow I just came across this tonight 05.02.16... I was visiting Bethel Church for a conference that week and I went to the service that night. It was the most amazing night of worship I have experienced in nearly 50 years of church going. To feel the power of the Holy Spirit hit the room with tangible electricity...and then to be immersed in a cloud of Gold Dust for 1.5 hours as we sang praises to God was something I will always remember. That week emboldened me to move in greater power and authority and being to "do the things Jesus did" (Robbie Dawkins). I think now - 4 years on God is reaching out to me and saying - what was planted there - needs to bloom and grow again in a new way! More of His Presence - to be hungry for the deeper things of God. It was truly awesome! Thank you Jesus. - Thank you Bethel for changing my life.

Every time i watch this or listen to it it's like INSTANT manifested power of God. THANK YOU LORD for this experience. And thank you Bethel Church for sharing it with all of us.

I love something Bill Johnson said in 1 of the videos about the way God was making his presence known in their services. He said for decades the people of God have gathered around a sermon, the Israelites gathered around the presence of God. God would manifest Himself tangibly to the Israelites he is no different today. For those who are hungry and crying out to Him he will come and make himself known in a tangible beautiful way.

Elizabeth Farina I prefer to look at it not as "one or the other" but as "both" since Scripture tells us God met them at the Tent of Meeting and spoke to them there. The sermons of the 1st Century church as well as ours today should be understood to be in His Presence since He occupies His Temple: His people. Blessings.
Oh yes Matt Dixon absolutely. I wasn't saying either or and neither was Bill. Simply pointing out that God still manifests His presence today just like he did for the Israelites :-)

If we do not submit symbols and signs to the authority of scripture, and find evidence there, then it must be brought into question. Therefore I don't believe this is from god, but rather man. I encourage you read the article before you comment.

This video is so anointed... I clicked on it and just heard him say Our Father, and started tearing up... I've felt so poured out lately, so dry. Waiting on God to move can be so hard, but just remembering that He's our Father, our Daddy, is just awesome!

I had this conversation with my father. I was saying how amazing that is and wondering why we don't have that in our church and he brought up those exact 3 points and said not to rely on miracles and supernatural things to happen in order to know that God is in our presence. Those are very profound comments.
While I don't believe the glory cloud stuff, I love enthusiastic worship. A freeing worship that is simply the children of God reaching to their Father. Love this Bethel!
The Israelites followed a moving cloud and pillar of fire. That was weird too.

In the Bible clouds are always associated with God. Clouds are the sorrows, sufferings, or providential circumstances, within or without our personal lives, which actually seem to contradict the sovereignty of God. Yet it is through these very clouds that the Spirit of God is teaching us how to walk by faith. If there were never any clouds in our lives, we would have no faith. “The clouds are the dust of His feet” (Nahum 1:3). They are a sign that God is there. What a revelation it is to know that sorrow, bereavement, and suffering are actually the clouds that come along with God! God cannot come near us without clouds- He does not come in clear-shining brightness.
It is not true to say that God wants to teach us something in our trials. Through every cloud He brings our way, He wants us to unlearn something. His purpose in using the cloud is to simplify our beliefs until our relationship with Him is exactly like that of a child- a relationship simply between God and our own souls, and where other people are but shadows. Until other people become shadows to us, clouds and darkness will be ours every once in a while. Is our relationship with God becoming more simple than it has ever been?
There is a connection between the strange providential circumstances allowed by God and what we know of Him, and we have to learn to interpret the mysteries of life in the light of our knowledge of God. Until we can come face to face with the deepest, darkest fact of life without damaging our view of God’s character, we do not yet know Him.
“. . . they were fearful as they entered the cloud” (Luke 9:34). Is there anyone except Jesus in your cloud? If so, it will only get darker until you get to the place where there is “no one anymore, but only Jesus . . .” (Mark 9:8 ; also see Mark 2:7).

Okay where are glory clouds, the practice of slain in the spirit, gold dust, or even pleading in the blood mentioned in the bible? If healings are true then why aren't faith healers going into hospitals and healing cancer patients? And don't tell me it has to do with the person receiving healings faith...I can provide tons of scriptures. This is a sham. Answer my questions. I'll give you a hint...you can't.

God is a god of impossible, our finite minds can't wrap themselves around his infinite mind and glory. He sent fire to light the Israelite's way at night and a cloud by day, and you don't believe he can send gold dust on a church in California? In Revelation it talks about the streets being paved with gold in heaven, this is nothing compared to his glory.
A people surrendered to the Spirit ... so amazing. This is so beautiful!!
God is so interested in having a real and meaningful relationship with us and not just words from us especially when we are in need. He so desires to bring His kingdom into ours and we should live expecting Him to come and make the difference in this world and this will happen if we make room for Him by our co-operation. Let's love Him supremely, trust Him implicitly and then follow His leading in total obedience to do His works and to speak His words and to love as He loves.
This worship brings conviction to my flesh to remain connected to the Spirit of God. I need heaven to come down in my life and in the University that I attend.
LORD, sorry that we, your church are not unified in one another and in the Father, just as you were unified with your Father. Please heal the broken hearts that have spoken here in anger or ignorance. Please forgive us and help us to forgive others. Transform us by the renewing of our minds so that we can discern what your will is. Lead your church into a revival of fire and lead us all into unity. May we either be red hot for you or cold towards you. Above all LORD, may the whole Earth know your love. Thank you that you are always good. May your will be done!!
His presence is with me now, in my room... this worship was born in God's Heart... but it's not only the song.. is the heart of worship that comes up into the throne of God..

God has donde wonders all over the world! He has shown His glory in amazing ways.....that way of showing His glory has been happening here in Mexico for quite few years now.......that is only a glimpse of all of His love and wonders!

God's glory manifesting all depends on the adoration of the Church and you can see everyone in the Church just totally pressing into God. WOW this is so powerful. I feel God's glory right here in my room.

I for one will not put God in a little box... who am I to say what God can and will do. We should as His people have the gift of discernment which would cause us a check in our spirit when something is off. And I have excellent discernment ty Papa God. This totally a God thing... may He be high and lifted up in all His splendor!

@iktomi5 i love this comment. As a young worshiper and worship leader I think this generation's style of worship is misunderstood and not accepted but it doesn't matter who accepts it or who doesn't. Our God is pleased. :) "good effort" and "the young express their love" ... so encouragin.

Amen Christopher, praise jesus. We are in the end times many immature or wannabe christians will attack the true church of jesus christ. I know this because i was one of them, but now i belong to king jesus ministries in miami fl, one of the biggest apostolic church in south florida we believe in the five fold ministry which is built up on apostles, prophets, teachers, pastor, Evangalist. This is the vision of our heavenly father, and not man.
No one left that room unchanged I bet... People keep saying that this is the Devil's work and such... Look at the fruit it bore. People were relentless after that. How is that the Devil's work? If they all started trying to grab the gold or whatever, then yes, it would be Devilish, but that didn't happen. It was a miracle and brought people closer to God.

Thank you so much, the glory of Lord is so smashing powerfull. Just a cuople of minutes ago I've been full of resentment and anger towards my fellow christians who I believe spread untrue information about my church. Now it's all gone, Love has overtaken my heart. Please pray for me, my church and the other one so that we all may find the Truth and live in peace of our Lord. Glory to the Lord!

this gold dust is a fantastic idea because it subconsciously relates gold to "financial blessings", really its a very clever way to teach prosperity teaching which is what bethel is all about. You come to this church, you pay, you will receive. Thats prosperity teaching. One day the penny will drop with these people, and it wont be a gold one.

My family and I started a church out in South Africa, in the middle of the dirt. We've seen gold dust appear randomly on people's hands, sparkling in the air, in bibles, on jeans, on faces. Everywhere we go, we see these things happen.

Hi Eric. I love ya bud! I agree the word is the key to everything. We have to find the delicate balance of not coming together just for a funny feeling but solely for our hunger with God. We can still enjoy the wonder along the way though. Good points though. I have met the Bethel people and they are genuine.
